I always make a point to look at the day of padded practice photos up on DC.com each week. While some players might or might not believe in practice, the coaches certainly do and this is the most important practice of the week.

Okoye is out there hitting bags but the above picture drew my eye. The dropoff from any of these three to Wilber and the rookie is significant. I think the smart move is to rotate on the nickel and keep guys fresh but McCoy is a dink and dunker and I see these guys having a big week.

I am also reminded that McClain has not been through an NFL conditioning program in awhile. Imagine him bigger, stronger, faster.

I don't think he's atrocious, but I think he belongs in a more 3-4 front. Of the 6 listed above, he is the one that interests me the least.

Good stuff. I really do like Sean. Sean, when he's on the field, is one of the better players in the NFL. I can't wait to get him back-he'll strengthen our LB corps. I just rarely think about Lee right now. Our guys that are playing this year are trying to do their thing and Marinelli is coaching em all up. I like what I see out of Durant, Rolando, and Carter. These guys have a chance to be real special this season.

I think he plays the Sam reasonably well. He's not a Spencer but he's a capable backup. And he may still develop further.

I still don't get the Carter hype over Durant. Carter is another Spencer as far as I'm concerned.
