Turf toe! Or, more precisely, *****foot.

I always make a point to look at the day of padded practice photos up on DC.com each week. While some players might or might not believe in practice, the coaches certainly do and this is the most important practice of the week.

Okoye is out there hitting bags but the above picture drew my eye. The dropoff from any of these three to Wilber and the rookie is significant. I think the smart move is to rotate on the nickel and keep guys fresh but McCoy is a dink and dunker and I see these guys having a big week.

I am also reminded that McClain has not been through an NFL conditioning program in awhile. Imagine him bigger, stronger, faster.
I can't imagine him more imposing than he is currently...and I hope any strength gains will be balanced. Muscle imbalances can lead to unforeseen injuries. It will be nice to see them all in action this week...the pass coverage underneath should improve with Carter's return.

Carter is a beast in the Sam spot, Durant excels wherever u put him, man it's exciting to see this D come together...

Wow, Sean Lee is getting beat up on the forum these days.

His track record of injuries will haunt him the rest of his playing days. You know how we always beat up players with that history around here. He's just the next in line.

This isn't the only place he gets beat up, dude.

Ha! Saw that one coming a mile away.

Usually, those guys aren't really contributors though. When Lee's healthy, he's a stud. Lee deserves some flac, but he isn't even getting the respect of being a good player when he's out there, some are treating the guy like Matt Johnson.

I still don't get the Carter hype over Durant. Carter is another Spencer as far as I'm concerned.

Durant seems to play well at the Mike and Will and can even play some Sam. Carter can play them all but Sam seems to be his home. When Lee gets back we will have a rotation if we keep them all. Ro, Carter and Durant are all FA's in 2015 so they have some signing to do. I think they should keep them all but money will talk. Ro IMO is a must. I'd take either Durant or Carter but prefer the both. Lee is so fragile but he only costs 2.5M in 2015.

And this group bleeds over into the packages as well...it has the makings of a truly great positional group, with depth.

Typical. I can't wait for the day this board turns on Jason Witten.

They did---remember him playing with the lacerated spleen and having that one bad game? And they've been writing off his blocking ability for years, too.

I don't think he's getting beat up. It's just strange to me that he's on IR and posters keep trying to put him in the mix this season for some odd reason. He's not a factor this year but his name keeps getting brought up. What's that all about? I don't know why I'm surprised. Some people can't get pass this week's game before they're talking about next year's draft. :facepalm:Oh boy.
