That's a fairly ridiculous number. We all know tackles can be misleading, but why was this guy on the streets? He's young and productive, doesn't appear to be damaged goods. How is he not already on a roster?

Great buy low signing. Evan’s put up career numbers in Atlanta last year with 117 tackles. He started 17 games. I’m baffled he couldn’t find a home until now.

I would love for the 49ers to sign him from our practice squad to their 53 because they would have to cut someone to do that. Then we could sign the player they cut.

Makes sense to put him on the PS. Malik Jefferson only has one call-up left. They can now sign Jefferson to the 53 and call up Evans for three weeks.
