only the jone's and dak and his agent know the asking price and what's been offered. all the rest is pure conjecture.

I thought I threw out a pretty good joke that got completely
missed because of a Dak-zombie screaming at me over a number.

Honestly, I thought I'd get the "Romo's been gone" group to
chime in but they apparently looked at the topic and my post
and decoded it to be...... a freakin' joke.

I wish we could trade or release fans... lol
(Another joke, sort of)

Right, I don't see anyone on here, yet, saying Tony needs to take a home town discount for CBS
Nor do I see them saying he is greedy for wanting more. Yet to see someone say he will be over paid (though many think he was as a QB also for no SB's).
Sorry just had to through that in there, mostly joking.

If Tony goes to ESPN or NFLN, what goofball will be be paired with. Maybe NBC dumps Collinsworth and adds Tony. Even though Al needs to go as well.

There’s no salary cap. Very weird comparison.

Man up to what, exactly?

Can you prove that he doesn't want $40 million?
I don't know about you, but I sure as hell would love
to have $40 million.

There's an interview he did with some giddy chick who asked
him if he's worth $40 million a year. His answer, suggests he thinks so.
A big change from his earlier comments on not deserving to be the
highest paid QB which he made just before his agent got hold of him.

He also turned down $33 million (per year) in September.

If he signs, I bet it's for more than $35 million.
In negotiations, neither side usually gets exactly what they want.
So it is quite feasible to claim that Dak's camp is very close to
asking for $40 million.

Your turn to man up.
Apologize for taking the internet so seriously and calling a
complete stranger a liar. But you won't. Not many people do.
Didn’t think you would.

Dude, if you claim something, the burden of proof is on you to substantiate the claim, not twist it with "Can you prove he didn't?!" That's dishonest at best and outright lying hoping that your claim will never be refuted with evidence in the future.

We don't know what he asked. It's likely that we'll never know. No reliable source has presented actual evidence that he asked for $40 million. He might have, he might not have, but your statement was worded in a way as to suggest it was fact.

That's why he wanted you to man up after I called him out on the same thing.

Although it was initially meant to be a JOKE.
I actually DID provide a source. The interview with the girl that badly
looked like she wanted to massage Dak's crotch with her foot.
She asked if he was worth $40 million and he responded with 'what do you think'.

Really, it is very sad that certain humans can't seem to identify a joke.
Hey, you don't have to think it's funny, but you should recognize it.
Instead, some cry faux outrage. "That's a lie!" No, numbnuts. That was a joke.'
@Rockport I'm talking to you.

I'm aware that it was a joke, however, his saying that in the interview is not the same thing as demanding it from the Cowboys in negotiations. So you provided no source with evidence of him demanding 40 million from the Cowboys. Even in jest, you're propagating the 40 million claim.

I'm just tired of people claiming something as fact without a shred of actual evidence.. Both sides are doing it and all it's leading to is insults, arguments, and countless ad nauseam vitriol.

I guess since he was not successful as a Cowboy QB, we have to use his post-Cowboy career success as a surrogate.

I also said Romo was primed for a comeback.
Why not demand sources for that as well?... smh
I didn't propagate a damn thing. And I ended it letting all
who read it know it was a joke.

I didn't insult anyone. I didn't start an argument.
So, I couldn't care less about how tired you are.
Take your high horse and piss off.
