Can someone tell Jason Garrett that this isn't the 90s, Marion Barber isn't Emmitt Smith, and we don't have the offensive line we did from the 90s.

I'll get right on that....

the phone is ringing....ringing...ringing..........

He didnt answer, but I left a message

as much as i like colombo, its definitely time we start over with this offensive line, starting with the outside.

Uncapped year is the perfect year to get rid of their fat contracts.

Leonard Davis and Gurode are still playing well enough.

But that outside pressure is killing us.

I was really hoping Holland would pay off, give us that beef that can push guys off the line when needed. Sigh.

Since our tackles give the edge so easily, I kind of like it

this made me laugh. Bam post 300.

It was the Cowboys best running play and they do it better than any team in the league. They did finish 7th in the league in rushing while only ranking 17th in rushing attempts. Their 4.82 yards per carry was good enough to finish 2nd in the NFL. Perhaps the lead draw is not as bad as it seems.

Why we have ran well out of the draws this year.

Mods: I mentioned this last year, but can we please consider a "top ten" offseason thread sticky to celebrate the supreme awesomeness of offseason threads like this one (please, please, please). :flex:

We can vote on awards just prior to training camp for best thread, most annoying, etc. It would really make this offseason a little more interesting.

The lead draw was the best thing we had going this year. The only problem is that Marion The Civilized ran it occasionally.

Who wants to bet the 'Marion the Civilized' name sticks? It's so catchy, it almost has to. It's ruined 'Marion the Librarian' for me forever.

I think some will use it during the off season but when the 2010 season starts and Barber is healthy I think he will shut many of them up.

You really just need to go cheer for the Browns or something man.... All your posts are negative. Go troll on a Browns forum or something I'm sure you'll have lots of fun. Cowboys are the BEST draw running team in the league, Romo sells it better than anyone.

Had enough?
I hate bashing posters here, but have you even been watching the games?

How many times have you seen us run this play for a loss? It's been by far our most successful running play.

You should have read the thread on the eagles message board about this very play. They were pulling their hair out over how we gash them every single time we run it.

Foolish talk. I demand that Red get rid of the best running play in our arsenal followed by scrubbing any pass plays to Austin or Witten.

It was effective all year until we played the Vikings...

I second this emotion.
