16 DE ANTHONY BARR - Donald and Ford gone, Lewan was there.

47 DT DOMINIQUE EASLEY - (pet cat pick) Crichton went 46

78 OT JACK MEWHORT - versatile guy (Brooks went @75 wanted him)

115 DT CARAUN REID - Talented guy, at worst a good rotation guy

146 WR JOSH HUFF - value pick

206 RB KAPRI BIBBS

208 S ISAIAH LEWIS

215 QB KEITH WENNING

I think your last four picks are throwaways but I wouldn't hate the first three. Easley is an enormous reach in the 2nd, though...he'll be there in the 3rd.

Caraun Reid is going to be a great player.

Completely unrealistic. Ford AND Donald before Barr and Lewan. I'll bet good money that that does not happen.

Easley is a huge risk. He is recovering from his 2nd ACL and has significant mental makeup issues. The description of his personality was similar to a MartyB type personality.

I think Mewhort can play in the NFL, but he's a bit overrated in most ranking including at #78. I'm not sure he can play LT in the NFL.

The draft simulators are fun at first, but they don't seem to be updating the rankings which leads to very unrealistic mock drafts.

I like this guy too. If we could get him in the 5th I think he would be a steal. Heck, I might even taken him in the 4th but I am thinking he won't last that long.

Try first pick.com they upgrade the algorithm every Tuesday with media updates on the players rankings, It still has Hageman available in the 2nd rd and Barr falling past 16 but the middle rounds and late rounds are very educational. I still think we have to trade in the first to reap the benefit of this years draft, lots of exceptional players are going to be available in the 2nd/3rd rds.
I agree the last three picks are not the best value choices and this point in the pre draft.

I would like an option to tighten it up.

I love both of the first two picks. Barr at 16 would be fantastic. Easley's stock will be rising soon enough and I've heard him discussed as a guy that could end up going here or higher if everything checks out. Getting him in the third like another mock above would be awesome though. The Fanspeak mocks seem random to me, they probably have some kind of big board(or several) they use and throw in some things to mix it up, not much thought or accuracy seems to go into it. They are fun though.

Agree...Reid is a major pet cat of mine, I honestly wouldn't flinch if they took him in the second. Guy is going to be a good player in the league.

Wow what a difference in those drafts, hard to stay off that trade button on first pick, you end up with a lot of players and it spoils the exercise. This is the time of year where everything for the draft is in a heavy state of flux. I saw something today where the draft site had Donald getting drafted by Tampa Bay(Lovie Smith needs the 3 tech). My take is Ryan Shazier is not a good fit for us so I just look by his great talent attributes, and I always try and gather in Marcus Martin as I think he could be a real asset at a couple of positions(C/Guard). I need to invest some more video time on the CB, not so sure how good Jaylen Watkins can be for a tampa 2 defense like we are running.
