Wow what a difference in those drafts, hard to stay off that trade button on first pick, you end up with a lot of players and it spoils the exercise. This is the time of year where everything for the draft is in a heavy state of flux. I saw something today where the draft site had Donald getting drafted by Tampa Bay(Lovie Smith needs the 3 tech). My take is Ryan Shazier is not a good fit for us so I just look by his great talent attributes, and I always try and gather in Marcus Martin as I think he could be a real asset at a couple of positions(C/Guard). I need to invest some more video time on the CB, not so sure how good Jaylen Watkins can be for a tampa 2 defense like we are running.
I think Shazier is talented enough to fit any system, I love Martin since like you said he can be used as the backup at both C and G. I think Jaylen could even move over to FS and do a great job there.
Though this might be my favorite this far:
Round 2 Pick 4 (OAK): Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh (A)
Round 2 Pick 17 (NYJ): Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame (A)
Round 2 Pick 22 (PHI): Jaylen Watkins, CB, Florida (B+)
Round 3 Pick 8 (MINN): Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
Round 3 Pick 12 (DET): Marcus Martin, C, Southern California (A)
