The guy has less than 500 career snaps between high school, college and NFL. He just wants a drama-free environment to develop into the best QB he can. He can’t get that in San Fran.

Let’s just leave him alone and let him develop this year and be excited to watch him in Preseason next summer. I believe he might be special, but he needs time
Totally agree as this kid might just be our near-future franchise QB!!!!!
One can only hope baby!!!!!

Dak lovers are so weird.
They don't want any competition for Dak, not now, not ever.
Keep Dak protected from competition, or else he may actually improve.
.
They're used to the mediocrity that is the last 25+ years.

So brodini, do you have any opinions about the Cowboys that don’t regard Dak Prescott? Or maybe, uh… life? Like life in general even?

What’s your favorite band? Or do you just not listen to music because Dak Prescott likely also listens to music? If you don’t, that’s cool, I’m not here to judge.
Brilliant

We're definitely looking at a year or 2 for him familiarize himself with the offense and coaching staff. I think he could be the #2 QB heading into 24. Some are really jumping the gun.

I think he stays #3 for at least the next two seasons. Rush and Dak are both signed through 2024 and Lance needs that time for development.

He will either take over for Rush in 2025 or he’ll be finding a new team. If his development goes well, he could possibly be a starter here by 26 or 27….but Dak leaving before that won’t likely happen.

Why are you making things up Shane? I don’t see any Dak fans against him having some competition. Just because you believe it doesn’t mean it is true.

Dak fans aren't going to leave him alone. They feel threatened. And they should be feeling that way

LOL...........tell that to the Dak trolls. He is their new unsung hero. They are counting the days until Lance takes over for Dak.

Sadly for them Lance is as bad or worse that Quincy the Bong Carter right now.

You should read with your eye open in here.
Some here actually are worried about a little QB controversy that little 'o Lance MIGHT create.
If so, and if Dak is worth this contract, he'll come out of it as new and improved player, which is good all the way around.

The media is going to exploit this to the maximum, as usual when it comes to the Cowboys. It's up to Cowboys fans to recognize the B.S.

Unfortunately for some fans, wishful thinking overrides common sense.

After hot yoga today I decided to do some personal reflection in my Zen garden and have now adjusted my stance on the acquisition of one Trey Aubrey Lance.

In his preseason games I saw what the entire free world saw….indecision, accuracy issues and lack of confidence. I saw no value in acquiring him because I believe in Shanahans evaluation after seeing him for 3 years and deeming him unfixable

however, after being reminded that the Niners offense may be too complex for him and our offense being dumbed down, “ which requires less pre and post snap reads”, I now see the reason why the FO may see value in him and a 4th round pick and low salary cap hit may work.

of course the truly sweetest attribute to Trey Trey being here is the comical anxiety now being felt by the members of the “Rayne Personal Fan Club”…….and just for the record, I still don’t believe that Trey Trey will ever be a threat to taking either Daks or Coopers jobs.
