From all accounts, he could’ve made the NFL fairly easily if he set his mind to it.

But why go to college to get paid a fraction of what the NBA was paying with no school?

Who knows if it would’ve worked out..likely not, that far removed but I could see him being a decent tight end if used right.

Jimmy Graham is pretty average as far as fundamentals go but his size and athleticism made him elite for a few years until he lost some of that.

That panty waste isn't man enough to play TE or any NFL position for that matter. What a joke that this wussy would ever think he could be a Dallas Cowboys. It's just a fantasy by yet another fan that just so happens to be a famous NBA star.

------I’d take on that distraction if it resulted in us having the greatest athlete we’ve ever seen.

    Nah....Jordan is too old

Years ago I had exactly this conversation in a bar. LeBron would be a WR playing TE with the size of an OT.

Yeah, I would be OK with that.

Didn’t he switch to the Browns then the rams? I guess his fandom jumps around as much as he does teams.

His knees would give out? LeBron has been playing basketball professionally and playing 82 games since he was 18 years old. You guys are talking out of your arse. If you want to say he wouldn’t be a good football player that’s fine but your argument is his body? Please.

Always been a what if for me if he chose football over basketball. A 6'9 260 pound WR?

Idk why but people are assuming LeBron would be a TE if he played in the NFL. Idk if it’s because he was a WR in HS or his size. Who says he couldn’t play DE like Ed “Too Tall” Jones? Jones was 6’9 as well and had a very long product career. Imagine if LeBron choose to play football at Ohio State and Meyer made him into a DE. Imagine his speed and strength at that position. It would be unreal.

Not to mention he would have made a fraction in the NBA compared to the NFL.

I can tell you never saw MJ play.

Or Bo Jackson. Or Deion Sanders.

Well, until his first offseason and he hit the weight room. Then he would be a 6'9" 290 pound TE with Larry Fitzgerald type WR skills.

This is true and consider CTE wouldn’t be a great concern after retirement.

And NBA contracts are fully guaranteed. And Lebron is on his 5th contract.
