Led Zeppelin

The Led Zeppelin influence

The British group’s second album, Led Zeppelin II, was a childhood favourite of Slash, and when he started playing the guitar, his love for the album reignited. The musician revealed to Signed Media in 2010: “An important record for me was Led Zeppelin II, their second record. Because when I was a kid growing up, my parents had that record.”

I remember getting the Led Zeppelin four disk greatest Hits when it first came out. The box set with the crop circles cover..

I had a stereo, well still have it but has not been used in years, that had a CD cartridge that held around 10 CDs and a stand alone cd drawer so you could play that if you were changing the cartridge.

I would put the four cds in. Then I would program them depending on my mood for the day. One day it would be all the upbeat rocking songs. Other times it would be all of the slower moody stuff.

My roommate would come in and hear a couple songs in a row and know if I was having a downer of a day.
