Lee fans: Let's get pumped up about Sean Lee

43 is a beast too. Who is that? The Penn defense was stacked.

That was Josh Hull. He led Penn State in tackles the past 2 seasons.

He was picked by the Rams in the 7th round . The next to last pick in the overall draft. #254 overall.

I think the Rams got a good player.

I guess that if we have to draft a bum from the Big Ten it might as well be a LB from Penn. State.

Why are we talking about Sean Lee? What has he done? Miles Austin has actually done it in the NFL; Lee has done nothing. Why all this hate on Miles?

You haven't seen the chickens I grew up with. They could claw your eyes out with their giant legs.

Look at his combine video. He doesn't have chicken legs.

Yah. That's actually the video that made me notice how good his footwork really is. His legs still look like sticks, but it's really not a point of principal that I care to argue about in the thread. I don't doubt that his lower body is plenty strong enough.

Maybe they're strong chicken legs. But his body type just looks like a safety who's beefed up a bit. Looking at the pic of him in action at DC.com:

It makes you wonder how he could have outgrown his old brace with those pins he's rolling on.

Damn that leg brace almost goes into crotch. *** are they doing down in Dallas?
:lmao:

And I'm sure they'll get bigger as he gets farther from the injury. Plus, IIRC he said on the postdraft conference call that he did a lot of leg pressing in college... When he ditches that and starts squatting seriously, he'll gain size.

PSU does HIIT. No squats for anyone. Been a long time message board debate among the PSU faithful.

Hull probably wouldn't have started last year if Mike Mauti hadn't blown his ACL out last August. Hull was a walk-on who everyone kept wanting to replace. Much like the Patrick Crayton of the Nittany Lion defense.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.

I can't believe anyone would train athletes like that anymore.

This pick sort of flies under the radar. Besides the fact that he seems like a bright, young leader I don't know much about this player.

What will his role be this year and what kind of player was he in college?

What kind of player do you think he'll be in the future?

I love this pick and the Dez hype tends to overshadow the brilliance with this pick. So we need some hype about this guy.

The one thing I see about Lee is he is very physical and I think he's twice the player B. Carpenter is.

Let's hear your Lee hype (or gripe if you choose).

no hype. just agree about all. 4th leading tackler in PENN ST istory. and he had an injury. if he stays healthy this could be biggest steal of draft

I like the Lee, great pick and will be a future leader for our team at the LB position.

He will beef up once he gets with our trainers, they will get him up to speed.

Great pick IMHO!
