The Titans signed their left tackle to 5 years for $80 million and the Falcons got theirs at 5 years for $75 million. That is some good money for an important position.

Left tackles have always got paid. This isn't new or news.

Last year Tyron was overpaid. So, sometimes it works out in the favor of player. Julio Jones is another example. Terrible year but he still got his money.

Tyron's deal was a bargain at the time. Unfortunately, that's when he started getting hurt.

Thats a bull **** article! Tyron Smith is counting over 18 mil against the cap. His contract was restructured to ease up cap space which in my opinion was a big mistake! He is good when healthy but I doubt we see him play full season again.
