Leg whip tackle on Zeke. almost another Dak situation

I have video and as I said, the DB made an effort to stand after he was coming down to the ground with Zeke's legs underneath him. He didn't have to do that. If he lets his body weight come all the way down to the ground, Zeke could have been hurt but the DB prevented that.

Okay we see it differently.. That's not going to change..

Maybe, but it is not an official game ball, besides, they normally give the game ball to a player in the locker room after the game is over.

It was a stupid way to grab and try to tackle him. I am surprised he didn’t take a ride to the end zone. There was 2 people or it likely is 6. He just rode him down..

There is absolutely nothing dirty about this tackle. Yes, zeke could have gotten hurt but it’s not a dirty tackle. The horse collar tackle is the dirty version of this but this isn’t it. Zeke is damn hard guy to bring down. The db had to use all of his weight to get him down. But it was clean and legal.

yes i agree not dirty dangerous sure but this is football..

i believe that Winston hit was called a horse collar and it wasnt, the guy grabbed all shirt at the shoulder, no where near the collar area it was not dirty or illegal's just bad..

Did anyone else notice that on the big catch and run late in the game the guy brought Zeke down using a very similar technique that the guy used on Dak.. mainly the whole grab a guy up around the shoulders then pull him down with your weight while wrapping your legs around his. #27 basically sits down on Zeke's left leg and it could easily have broken it if they fall differently. I know it's football but watching it made me uneasy. I don't know what if anything can be done about it ..

The crazy part about it is the Vikings were doing mess like this all night. Harrison had CD in a full blown ufc choke move on the sideline after he made a play for the first down.

Here is the beginning of it when #27 grabs him..



Then as Zeke starts to drag him he pulls down wwith his weight.. Notice the DBs feet sticking out in front just below Noah Brown's butt..



Then you see him really sitting down in the next frame..



Then finally you can see the DB full on sitting on Zeke's leg which is visible between Brown's legs..



It was a very dangerous play and I was happy to see Zeke get up from it.

Yeah that is such a terrible way to tackle that the NFL needs to outlaw it.

Oh, hell, that shows it even worse! Damn, Zeke dodged a bullet.

I hate that tackle so much but with these new rules of not going high guys are going to tackle like that more often now. That tackle is what got Jameis Winston hurt yesterday.
