can you imagine a 375lb player, I wish he would play more around 350-360, OT wing-span, and tremendous athleticsm at RG? I can, and I like it

of course most of this is predicated if we re-sign Columbo to start again at RT

maybe I'm just being blinded by his potential and am just wishing for the best, but let me enjoy it, as Cbz would say, dagnabit!

Actually I think he will play RG...I also think Blalock will be our pick at #22. Adding Blalock inside with Davis and Gurode will create a massive roadgrading oline...with Flo at OT.

This may sound crazy, but think about this...

LT = Flo
LG = Blalock
C = Gurode
RG = Davis
RT = McQuistan, Kosier, Fabini, draft...whom ever is best at this position.

This gets us back to the good old days of gridning it out...

I might be comfortable with the Davis signing if I knew who fingerprints were most covering this.
If its all Jerry, this is gonna be bad.
It its an equal combination Jerry, Ireland and Wade I might feel a little better.
I have learned to become concerned when Jerry gets sold on someone's potential. It usually turns out badly.

it's not a bad bet, where he lines up probably is going to be determined by who plays RT, if we re-sign Columbo, or not, so it's 50/50 that he's our starting RT next year, I'm just disputing that Davis was signed just to play RT, he wasn't, they're considering him at RG as well, and again, where he lines up won't be decided until later
