can you imagine a 375lb player, I wish he would play more around 350-360, OT wing-span, and tremendous athleticsm at RG? I can, and I like it

of course most of this is predicated if we re-sign Columbo to start again at RT

maybe I'm just being blinded by his potential and am just wishing for the best, but let me enjoy it, as Cbz would say, dagnabit!
Does he look overweight to you?

Man I hope this works out. It was good insurance if Columbo does not resign to have a guy to play tackle too. I wish they would have taken some oline guys in the draft last year in the 1st and 2nd rounds. The oline rookies did very good last year, and signing TE and LB would have been cheaper then signing Oline this year. Well we needed a better oline so hopefully this does it. I would of rather had Larry Allen wish we would of kept him.

 they have one yet?

btw, the Pats made another shrewd move signing TE Kyle Brady today

I imagine they will have one after signing several free agents. Davis alone isn't enough to justify a press conference.

that I didn't expec, they paid him the same or more than Steinbach and Diehlman. I suspect that they liked his versatility better. The deal makes more sense if they play him at RT because he certainly got tackle money.

Interesting tidbit about his size and weight on his website:

Earned the nickname "BIGG" after sprouting to 6-0, 205 pounds as a fifth-grader and 6-4, 300 pounds as a seventh-grader … has weighed at least 370 pounds since high school.
