You just know Danny is going to sign Davis to a huge contract. Davis has to do what's best for him and his family, and Snyder will dish out a contract that he can't refuse.

I hope Jones doesn't fall for this "leverage" game of overpaying.

I actually find this situation kind of funny. Davis in dallas, dallas trying to not let him get on the ride. Davis visits Commanders, gets another offer. Just shows how heated this rivalry really is. :laugh2:

Honestly though, if davis is going to be asking for steinbech/dockery money, I dont want him. He is not worth anywhere near that money. I would much rather try our luck with a backup then spend that much on him.

This is basically a lose lose for dallas

1) Davis signs with washington, dallas lose out on all top linemen.
2) Davis turns down Commanders, but by bringing him in, Commanders up the price on dallas.

But one BIG thing we do have going for us is a lot of draft picks.

My preference would be to re-sign Colombo, and if Davis is commanding crazy bucks, take advantage of the Draft.
