In Florida I am sure you watch alot of AZ Cardinal football and hear about Big on the news often huh?

Funny thing is the armpit of the NFL doesn't even want him, that should tell you something.

I have the NFL Season Ticket so regardless of whether I am in Florida or Timbuktu I have the opportunity to watch Davis every week. So to answer your question, yes I have seen him play and would be impressed with getting him here to play the guard position. Tackle? No. Guard. Yes. I understand the "lazy" moniker given to him but have seen what he can do with my own eyes and it is destructive. Perhaps he would benefit from a fresh change and a move closer to home.

I agree and I've watched him play alot also. He would be awesome at OG. I'd love to have him in Big D. He would be a major upgrade for our oline. Lord knows we could use him...

Arizona didnt want Simeon Rice either. I am not sure we should use them as great evaluators of talent

Bottom line on Davis is that he is too slow to play tackle well. BUT he can be a very good guard. If he is motivated and keeps in shape.

I think it's more like he gives them one big chunk of guaranteed money up front, then smaller money with big chunk in last 2 years. Just don't know how he does it but I think Cowboys and other teams also serious wonder.

Maybe JJ should look at it this way: we probably saved a fair amount by signing Gurode early like we did. Take that money and use it to get Columbo.
