Last week I posted a thread asking if folks thought he should be on the hot seat. Our defense just got shredded. I love the “want the ball” thought process but nobody can tackle, corners aren’t covering, and we’re getting abused by opposing offenses. Again, should he be on the hot seat?

no he shouldnt be on the hot seat

the defense has peaks and valleys it happens

the defense peaked earlier this year and now injuries have taken hold thats not Quinns fault

we cant just keep throwing people on the hot seat we are 11-4 for a reason

You haven’t been paying attention have you. The defense has been beset by injuries. They’ve lost 2 starting CB’s, a starting LB, several starters on the D-Line.

If they just bring some force when they tackle they'd be fine. DQ can't tackle for them. However, I need these CBs pressing with Safety help over the top.

Quinn has to find a way to put more pressure on the opposing QB because the Eagle's number 2 looked like an ALL PRO most of the game. For whatever reason the QB SACK has become a thing of the past.

I though he would have changed the scheme a bit with Parsons role, but getting Joseph off the field was a good start. Have to get Barr out of there next.

Hot seat - no. People are just now seeing he is an average coach. Was run out of ATL. He has a bunch of talent to play with here yet has failed to adapt and get the run D fixed. He is just a meh coach.

.hey we held, Sanders to 3.1 a carry.
And that was without LVE and Hankins.

DQ will shore things up. Has couple of weeks to implement some tweaks

This defense relies on pressure and takeaways. Often times the pressure leads to the turnovers. If we aren't getting home then the defense is just plain bad.

Lately, we haven't been getting to the Quarterback and you all are seeing how it's going. Luckily we forced some turnovers and that was the difference.

Well to be fair Minshew has a lifetime 93 QB rating and that was with a pathetic Jacksonville team. The eagles have the best offensive line in the league and talent at all skill positions.

No adjustment until late on the slant pass that was killing us all game long.

74 points scored against us in the last 2 games?

24th in the league in rushing yards against us?

Quinn right now should quit his HC aspirations and hope Jerald invites him back.

They managed with:
A rookie CB.
Nahshon Wright.
An veteran CB on the practice squad.

A rookie LB.
LB Luke Gifford.
Feet in quicksand LB Barr.

DT Watkins as the starting 1tech.

A Safety with limited range being a key player on defense. A player with minimal impact in the NFL prior to signing with the Cowboys (Kearse).

They only have 1 true star player on defense.

They desperately need LVE and Hankins back for the playoffs.

They also need to determine after reviewing the game film if Alexander inside and Bland outside is the best combination at CB or Wright outside and Bland inside or 1 of the other veteran CBs on the practice squad in the mix.

Sam Williams needs to be healthy for the playoffs and Parsons needs to be sufficiently rested.

In the off-season they have to get a legit premium DT and another option at CB. They also must upgrade from LB Barr.

Honestly I know he’s had Injuries but his failure to adjust is mind boggling. He’s had Micah make him look better than he is all year.

now that Micah is slowing down Quinn has no answer.

teams have been throwing quick passes more against use as well. Have yet to see a counter to it
