Honestly I know he’s had Injuries but his failure to adjust is mind boggling. He’s had Micah make him look better than he is all year.

now that Micah is slowing down Quinn has no answer.

teams have been throwing quick passes more against use as well. Have yet to see a counter to it
He has adjusted he was adjusting the whole game its just that the Eagles kept beating our adjustments

I would like to ask him what was up with not moving parsons over when they put the backup tackle in. Not once did we attack that dude. If the shoe was on the other foot they would've abused our reserve player or at least tested him. I thought that was a bit suspect.

This defense relies on pressure and takeaways. Often times the pressure leads to the turnovers. If we aren't getting home then the defense is just plain bad.

Lately, we haven't been getting to the Quarterback and you all are seeing how it's going. Luckily we forced some turnovers and that was the difference.

Hmm maybe we shouldn't had lowballed Von Miller?

I think a lot of it is on the players. We don't have very much talent on the D despite what some people seem to think. Injuries are not an excuse....every team is dealing with injuries. Having a couple average CB's out, a DT who was signed midseason and only plays like 30% of the snaps and LVE is not significant.

I've been very critical of the defense lately, and they have their ups and downs for sure, but they seem to find ways to get takeaways and to stay in it. Even against Jacksonville last week, the defense did enough to give this team a chance.

With that said, I hope we can find some health down the stretch. We could use some players back.

It looks like the league has figured out his defensive scheme and he's not making the proper adjustments. I'm hoping he's saving them for the playoffs and the D returns to it's early season form.

Last week I posted a thread asking if folks thought he should be on the hot seat. Our defense just got shredded. I love the “want the ball” thought process but nobody can tackle, corners aren’t covering, and we’re getting abused by opposing offenses. Again, should he be on the hot seat?

Lost: starting CB, starting nickel CB, starting MLB, starting 1 tech. This is not the defense that started the year, so got to give him some slack. But need to get better

Some of you will turn on a player or coach quick....like in one bad game or some of you in one play. Sports is full of adjustments. The defense hasn't been playing well, but let them find the adjustments and the replacements that fit. Geesh!

My biggest gripe is that Micah wasn’t rushing from LE when Lane Johnson went out.

It just did not make sense to not take that advantage on the last seriea

No, Quinn is outstanding. You don't know what you are talking about.

Given the injuries,
I think he gets a pass.

So we have a top 5 defense for 12 weeks, sustain a bunch of injuries, have 3 down weeks and now the DC is on the hot seat?

This fanbase is amazing. Everything has to be perfect at all times or else someone needs to get fired. How do 3 weeks give us amnesia like the first 12 didn’t happen?

Quinn has to find a way to put more pressure on the opposing QB because the Eagle's number 2 looked like an ALL PRO most of the game. For whatever reason the QB SACK has become a thing of the past.
Best O-line in the league, and though they didn't get any sacks, they pressured him plenty. Even that last bad throw on 4th down through the end zone was caused by pressure.

They managed with:
A rookie CB.
Nahshon Wright.
An veteran CB on the practice squad.

A rookie LB.
LB Luke Gifford.
Feet in quicksand LB Barr.

DT Watkins as the starting 1tech.

A Safety with limited range being a key player on defense. A player with minimal impact in the NFL prior to signing with the Cowboys (Kearse).

They only have 1 true star player on defense.

They desperately need LVE and Hankins back for the playoffs.

They also need to determine after reviewing the game film if Alexander inside and Bland outside is the best combination at CB or Wright outside and Bland inside or 1 of the other veteran CBs on the practice squad in the mix.

Sam Williams needs to be healthy for the playoffs and Parsons needs to be sufficiently rested.

In the off-season they have to get a legit premium DT and another option at CB. They also must upgrade from LB Barr.
I'm not a Barr fan, but he made some plays today that show a little bit of promise.

literally nothing is perfect with this team. Some of us have been watching this team for a very long time and we know what’s coming. You think this is a championship caliber defense ?

Nothing is perfect with any humans lol. It is frustrating that they can’t both be firing at the same time, and no they haven’t played well these last 3 weeks. But to act like they weren’t a top 5 unit for most of the season is strange.

We’ve seen them play extremely well, I believe they can do it again. Injuries have taken a toll but if they can get back to who they were then yes they are a championship caliber defense.

They need to turn it back around, but I’m not going to act like Dan Quinn needs to be fired. You don’t think that that’s a bit extreme? All the good that he’s done gets washed away from 2 bad weeks and one meh one?
