Let Bledsoe Sling it!

To let Drew "fling it" would mean that the 'O' line had to be doing a good job of protecting Drew. In case you didn't notice yesterday, we had RB's missing blocks as well as a 'O' line getting manhandled. Do you think that Drew scrambling around in the pocket is his area of comfort? I promise you that if Drew was used as the original poster suggested, most of the people calling for a wide open offense would want Drew's head after a game or two.

It truly is sad to see what idiots this team has for coaches. If this it on how BP uses Bledsoe then why did we even bring him in. We might as well have stuck with Vinny.

Bledsoe is a QB that can carry a team and win games. Unfortunatly our coaches are to fn dumb to let Bledsoe play his kinda game.

I feel bad for Bledsoe cuz the man is out there givin it everything he has and sometimes I feel he is the only one that gives a crap out there.

We had Witten and Parcells pointing fingers at Bledsoe on that 4th down. Bledsoe showed who the real leader of this team was by taking the blame himself and not playing the blame game.

Maybe if one certain coach who pointed a finger at Bledsoe actually removed his head from his butt when it came to coaching and preparing the team then he would not have needed a last minute win....yet again.

I will say this. I truly respect Bledsoe and am very happy he is our QB. I can not say the same thing about anyone on the coaching staff including Parcells.

I want to see Bledsoe just go out there and sling it on first down, go deep, hit Whitten a few dozen times, see Price go long! Conservative gets you to the end of a game and losing on 4th and 4!

Open up the offense a bit is appropriate but telling Bledsoe to go pass happy like Vinny did last yr is a recipe for diaster. If Bledsoe need to pass more than 30 time a game too often, we won't be in a close game because we'll probably be losing by 14+. This team is not build to pass and does not have the D to get the ball back often enough to go 3 and out.

Dang, great post. Has Parcells in his whole career ever blamed a game on himself? All the great ones have done that, but has he, he has a serious ego and it can never be his fault.

The thing that pisses me off is Witten and Parcells pointing fingers at Bledsoe. One would think that after Bledsoe carried the team on his back and won the games against SD and SF and almost did it yesterday that they would not even think of doing this.

That kinda crap is so Terell Owens.


Like I said maybe if the game planning and play calling was better and they let Bledsoe sling it more then none of this crap would be going on now.

I have ZERO bad thoughts about Bledsoe. I mean come on how many last minute come back wins can you expect on the road. And like even the greatest of QBs Bledsoe will also miss a open WR at times. And even if he hits Witten there is no sure deal he gets in for the score or the 1st down as there were 3 Raiders there ready to tackle him.


I looked at the pic of that. By the time Bledsoe looked Wittens way and reached back to throw those defenders woulda already started closing in on Witten.

What garbage to point fingers at the QB who is the big reason we have 2 wins.

Again, I completely agree. I think the saying is true that great minds think alike

Anyway, Bledsoe is the whole reason we are 2-2 and not 4-0, and the 2 losses should go to Parcells. And they do, at least in my book, lol.

And is Bledsoe ever a warrior, the shots he takes, diving for first downs, even in the preseason. Carter always slid, and many others did too. Bledsoe has heart and thats something you can't just pick up.

Bledsoe had a hard time carrying Buffalo didn't he. Can you name the last time that Drew carried a team successfully? The last time he "carried" a team was when Bill was coaching him!

Hey, Drew is having a good year but let's not forget that although he made big throws in SF game, he also had some bad ones. What some may not be understanding is that Bill has put Drew in the position to shine and has successfully kept him out of troubled areas.

Bill knows that Drew cannot be trusted with the Keys because he is cocky and sometimes forces passes where he should not be. As I said in another post, he sometimes trusts his arm more than his head. He is what he is and for that, Bill can't let him have the keys to the bus because he will bring it back all banged up faster than a teen on prom night.
