Romo ws under zero pressure on that INT. There wasnt a defender within 5 yards of him. He STARED TO DOWN, had to hgave seen Dawkins back there, and still threw it. It was a bad play and the straw that broke our proverbial backs.
Yeah, he made 2 bad decisions in that game, and made about 20+ good ones, plus a few that were just downright amazing plays. When a QB runs for his life for 3 quarters and the team is down with the clock running, expect him to make a few bad decisions.

Like I said, Tony was the only bright spot on the team yesterday.

Tony Romo is just like Brett Farve. He can make all the throws but if you get any pressure on him consistantly he'll throw more INTs then anyone out there.

Just live with it because he'll make some great throws also.

Tony Romo screwed up a few times yesterday.

I think he started trying to force things because he knew the defense wasnt going to stop Philly.

He played bad yesterday but to say hes a "rookie" QB is crazy.

Hes a dang good Quarterback.

His stats against teams that are at least 7-8 or better (7 games):

7 TDs
12 INTs
A completion % of 50

Those are Quincy Carter numbers. No, they're worse than Quincy Carter numbers.

As I said in another thread, it's finally time for Zimmer to go. Yesterday and the NO game sealed his fate for me. I've been patient, but this has gone on too long now.

Zimmer just doesn't get it done.

Look he's just in his first year as a starter. What do you expect. I agree with everything Catch17 has said in this thread. He has nailed our problems. We need a pass rusher and a new DC.

His numbers yesterday were pretty horrible, but he had a good game. Watch the games and stop worrying about stats.

He had no less than 5 throws excluding the two horrible INTs that were ill advised and several more that were just plain and simply bad. Ypou can't go 14/29, throw for less than 150 yards and 2 picks and have a good game. It isnt possible. Stop trying to dress it up. He had a bad game.

I watched every painful moment of it. He had some nice throws, two good scrambles, made a nice play on the botched snap, and took a good sack under pressure.

He also threw two bad picks at crucial times, took a Bledsoe-esque sack by hoklding the ball too long, threw it to nobody because he was scared the very next play, and had 3throws over the middle that were a millisecond from being picked off and taken the other way.

He had a bad game yes, but i would take him over every QB except for Manning, Palmer, and Brady. During the beginning of the year, wouldve you traded for a possible Brett Favre or keep Bledslow???

I'm not seeing Romo as being anything even close to the problem here.

Others are right. The defense was the biggest culpit yesterday. Beyond that, dropped passes and mental mistakes by blockers just killed the team.

The defense is easily the biggest disappointment though because there is talent on that side of the ball. Maybe youth is the problem? Maybe the scheme? Maybe the execution? I don't know, but I want it fixed...

Ok 1st of all I want to say you guys complaining about our offensive playcalling as a whole for the entire year dont know what they are talking about.

We have 2 1000 yard receivers, over 1600 yards soon to be 1700 yards rushing, a TE with 700 yards receiving who wasnt even used in the 1st 6 games, and our 3rd receiver has over 500 yards.

Our offense is at the top of every single offensive category out there.

Our offensive playcalling is great... Not good... but great.

It was horrible yesterday though and I wont deny that, and theyve made a few bad calls this year but guess what? EVERY TEAM DOES.

Nobody calls a perfect game week in week out.

So offense isnt the problem, quit crying about Sean Payton being gone because this offense still has produced and produced BIG.

Our WR leads the league in TD's and our RB is in the top 3 in the league for TD's.

It produces big... Not a little but big....

----------------------------------

Now to the defense......

Fire Mike Zimmer. Its so obvious.

We dont attack teams, they attack us.

Every December our defense falls off.

All you guys wanting to blame this defense on Parcells need to can it.

Zimmers defenses were the same way before Parcells ever got here.

We dont put anyone in position to succeed on that side of the ball.

We have no pass rush, we never stunt with our line or anything its always the same.

We dont confuse QB's at all because on each play they know what they are getting.

Roy Williams is one of the best players in this league if used correctly.

Marcus Spears is an athletic dude. I wouldnt be able to tell by how he plays on the field.

Our defense screws up the offense because they could be starting at the 10 yard line and they will at least get it to the 50, then punt, and tottally change the field position.

Our defense just screws everything up and im sick of it.

Zimmers got to go.
All of this falls at the feet of Bill Parcells.Unlike the 1st couple of years we could use the excuse that he was playing with Campo's players, this is his team now,and as usual, their falling apart in december.I agree there is talent here, but he isn't getting the most out of it.They can go ahead and fire Mike Zimmer for it all,but the real person to blame is Bill Parcells.

It's all about the Win first, not big stats and numbers....this team is lacking leadership right now and clearly suffering unable to get the Win.

Munchis....Out!!
