Let the debate begin

Gosh, I thought your thread said "Let the drama begin". Mam it's all drama all the time on here. Not sure who I would want on my debate team if it were an actual debate. Do people even debate any more in the twitter world. Debating is not opinions, it tends to be based on fact and supportable

hmmmm, a green uni and a red uni.... I assume different teams. Am I right, am I right. Ok let's debate two players who played on different teams with different schemes and different schedules I assume. Not to mention different QB's who threw the ball to them. I'll take Gallup, he's on our team, not someone else's

I'd say right now it's close on both sides but
Before the catch Ridley> Gallup
After the catch Gallup>Ridley
Even if Gallup ends up the better player I can't say I think Ridley won't also be very very good too.
If there are nonCowboy fans having this debate a year or two from now then it's a HUGE win for us considering we spent only a third round pick and got a first round LB and second round OL to go with our WR.

It really isn' for all that.

Basically these guys debate who the best WE coming out of college is. The guy who is pro Gallop makes a ot of good and interesting points.

Especially the fact Ridley is 24

Good players that standout on good teams sometimes stand out because they are on good teams that can't lose. I like these good players that help carry mediocre teams as they have to work that much harder and their talent truly shines. I think Morris Calyborn looked good cause he was on an OP LSU team.

If Dak doen't improve his accuracy, we could be wasting Galluip's talent or Gallups talent may make up for Dak's inaccuracy.

Lets draft the Colorado State QB; SOME NICE THROWS THERE.

Yes based a lot on college tape from completely different teams. I don't understand how that could be an accurate assessment. It's pretty subjective IMO. Combine stats too. Ok that's an accurate assessment of indoor without pads stats and objective indoors on a track. Give me a WR who: A) can catch; B) can run; C) is athletic and D) is coachable, intelligent enough to learn the majority of the routes, can play without thought, natural and has a good attitude. The last is the part of the process that we never see. Guys who do the combine say it's 30% drills and 70% interviews and talking with coaches. We never get to hear or see that and we can't debate one of the most important parts of the decision teams make on these guys.

Exactly Gallop is so good you want his college QB on the Cowboys

I'd be happy to have either but getting Gallup for a 3rd and Williams in the 2md is better than Ridley
