The NFL will stop testing when it is no longer illegal at the federal level. Not sure it will happen in 2 or 3 years and even it does he's probably not going to be able to avoid additional positive results along the way.
More to the point, how many of these reclamation, baggage-ridden, "too good to pass on" projects does the team need to fail at before people realize that they actually work out so infrequently that it probably does more harm than good in the long run.
