The offensive line is much improved over the last few years. Romo will now be able to play the way he can . I think T Bradshaw's comments about Callahan were interesting. Hate this conservative approach. If this line continues to improve I think we will open up the offense as the year progresses. I think that Garrett relied too much on the pass, but so does Callahan I would rather a mix of the two with the runs called in passing situations. We did that very thing in the San Diego game and it worked like a charm the announcers even mentioned it. I think that we believed that we could pass on them and just kept it up even when we could not, because once we become one dimensional run or pass it is not a good thing. Moose said more than once that if we did not get out of the soft zone we would regret it . He is not a coach, but anyone could see the same thing. Sometimes when our coaches are involved in calling the game they can't see the forest for the trees, this is where J.G. should step in and intervene, but he does not.

Not sure why anyone is defending anything about the offense. 14 offensive points scored against that crap defense SD has deserves no defending. Offense sucked too.

Did you read his post? I feel the same. Whether it be offense or defense I think JG should step in and change something if he feels it will better the team.

After SD scores who gets the ball? Offense does! So who can't get any drives going? & who comes rite back on the Field? the Defense does! Our defense bails out our offense a lot & you would think the Offense can do the same.. Hell No! Championship teams play on both sides of the ball.

They did have the turnover at the 1, and the missed fg, and they were operating at -8m of time of possession and short at least one series' worth of plays. The pick-six was awesome, but sandwiched in between two long SD drives, we missed out on another set of downs there (nobody's complaining, but it should be part of the consideration when looking at the offense last week). Sometimes the games come down in a way where you can't simply look at the points scored.

Now, this was a game where our offense needed to keep pace with SD, and against what was a supposed to be a bad defense (they didn't look bad at all to me), and they couldn't. But I don't see how you can look at 400 yards passing a 3 tds and how outright bad the coverage was last week in that second half and blame anybody but the defense for that collapse. It was obvious.

the offense played one good quarter and nothing else...the defense played poorly for much of the game...both areas cost us the win...there really isn't any other way to slice this up
