Zim had tons of elite players here so his job was not crazy hard. 95 was his crowning moment I guess. Never done alot since . He's decent but the guy wants to retire and I say let's get a younger dc

He had a decent year as the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator in the 90s that was it.

I'd take Irving over Deion if we're going down the stupid road here. What would Deion or Witten bring to the team?? I just don't get fan boy worship. Neither of these guys will win anytime soon in Dallas. Deion can't recruit. There's something called a CAP in the NFL. Deion isn't all that great at coaching. You guys watch any Colorado games lately Witten is even worse. No experience at all except puppy girl crush High schoolers. Yeah, he did look like he wasn't having a lot of fun this year.

I personally would look at Zim on the sideline and he would look like he wanted it all to be over. But looks can be deceiving. I just assumed it was a one off thing and he was going into retirement or somewhere with less drama.

I’ve been saying that for a month now, Sam was his DC at Jackson State for two years and I’m sure he would do it again.

Zim was part of his staff in Colorado. It would make alot of sense to retain him and see what he can do with another year.

Too many here have bought into the Jones' boys "we like our guys," mantra. I don't want a HC, OC or DC with any ties to the Cowboys past.

If Jerry brings in outsiders they might tell others what kind of owner he is. He better stick to dumb*** guys like himself.

If Deion is the new HC, then Deion needs to be allowed to pick his staff without any being forced upon him. Either things need to start changing in the organization, or who the new HC is doesn't matter.

I think people believe that because the defense looked better against some crap teams that they think he fixed the defense. THe same weakneses were there. Probably personnel issue that he can't do anything about.

No coincidence that the defense got worse when both ends were injured and got better when one of them returned.

Hard to have a good defense without good defenders.

Injuries happen though. Always. I seem to remember most of them playing against the Saints.
