Enthusiasm is at an all time high.

Chests are puffed.

The strut has come out.

The fandom has returned.

The server in the Cowboys shop is down.

So let's look at what ails this team:

I'll start with one: Turnovers. I believe we are +1 in that category. This has to increase. It's the law of the game. Harris is beginning to make me hold my breath with every punt. I don't like that feeling. We got lucky yesterday, but those turnovers have kept teams in the game. ala Houston.

Call me a negative Nancy, but I just wanted a "different" thread for a day or so.

Got any more?

Turnovers and pass rush is all that really concerns me. Easy to forget that that endzone pick Romo threw that was dropped. Next play was the TD to Escobar. If the DB catches that, I doubt we win the game. We can't turn the ball over like we did the last two weeks and make a deep playoff run.

pass rush is still a big problem and this defense is still giving up to many big runs. also we need more big plays in the passing game to back up the eight man fronts we will be seeing as the last ten games unfolds. of course special teams as stated in the first post is not special by any means. too many penalties and not many return yards. cannot believe that the cowboys are 5-1 with all of our problems but so far I am glad that they are.

You have to wonder what will happen the day the running game gets stuffed for whatever reason and how the defense will respond when they have to be out there the majority of the game.
They still have the ability to give up big chunks of yardage and scores much quicker than anyone would like to see.
Something I, for some reason, keep having nightmares about involving their upcoming games with the Eagles.
My gambling record, as of late has been just a few small shades above abysmal so I'm not getting overly worried about my gut feelings as of yet.

The fumbles are STILL a problem.

Whether it's Murray (who appeared to fumble late in the 1st quarter, but the ball went out of bounds), or Harris- this is a problem.
This team is playing (in my humble opinion) above their heads a little bit and they cannot keep expecting to overcome needless turnovers and expect to win.
It will bite them.

The Special Teams unit has regressed and it's been pretty bad from penalties on nearly every opportunity (last game) to blocked punts to running out of the endzone at the worst time to FUMBLES.
Bisaccia needs to get those guys heads back into what they were last year (obviously besides White Mamba Bailey)- a solid unit that could be depended upon.

The pass rush is barely good enough also.
Pressures are good- sacks are better and total, consistent pocket chaos is best and this team is not creating that nearly enough.

There. I have no more salt to place upon any wounds presenting themselves to me. That was therapeutic! You should charge for this.

If you don't, some goober in Los Angeles who happens to be a Cowboys fan will read this and immediately Copyright, Incorporate, make an infomercial and then you will be reminiscing on "What could have been" while L.A. goob is swimming in money like Scrooge McDuck's vault.

Shoot- you better do it before I do... I'll shoot an Infomercial in a heartbeat.
Of course I'd probably ruin it- not being able to take anything seriously. I'd most likely offend my demographic as I attempt to sell the product.

Dang it! I know I would! Like trying to sell Beano by offending people who are chronic farters.

All right my friend- I concede I will not attempt to steal your business opportunity.

I've been holding back, maybe tmrw, still enjoying the win.

My "Any Given Sunday" mind psyche worked for us, lol
I refused to speak negative the entire week leading up to the big game and it was profitable......

Carter was just turning the corner when he went down. I believe the D will be just fine as long as RoMc stays on the field.

The Eagles don't scare me. Foles can't throw deep. Our DBs will blanket those receivers.
