I'd agree with everyone that most of the negatives stem with special teams:
- Mediocre, at best, punting game
- Too many penalties on returns. Against Houston, didn't we have three straight returns that drew a penalty?
- The big, big special-teams gaffes. Botched punt, blocked punt. Those are plays that typically lead to losses
Defensively, I'd like to see us finish off more sacks. Given that we have almost an all-new, and still somewhat injured, defensive line, I've been pleasantly surprised by the pass rush in recent weeks. I thought they did a good job penetrating against Seattle. But I'd love to see us wrap up and finish one or two more of those pass rushes a game. We're not going to yield an elite pass rush, so we need to make the most of what we get.
