Lets get Bledsoe a speed burner!

we had Galloway and gave him away for free to TB when Key was about to be released.

Galloway robbed Dallas when he was here... a total waste of two draft picks that could have had us Shaun Alexander AND Koren Robinson during those years... Galloway is and always will be a complementary receiver... When he was in Seattle years ago, Blades was the stud WR and Galloway the frequent flyer... Furthermore, don't give me any BS about how he's doing a helluva job in TB either... What did he do against the Rumpskins anyway in last weeks playoff game??? Jack Squat!! I laugh at notions of getting Galloway as a FA... I'm glad he's gone! I'm not saying Galloway is a complete toad, but for what he got paid in Big D, he should have put up Terrell Owens or Randy Moss numbers...

Do we still have the draft rights on Carl Lewis? He's fast :D

Speed is why Tex drafted him. Granted late pick back when we had 12 rds but none the less it shows even back then teams were interested in guys with outstanding speed. It worked pretty damn good with Bob Hayes.

I remember the track guy SF drafted that got laid out in a game and was never worth a darn afterwards.

J. Rector is supposed to be fast, never made it up from the practice aquad I think tho.

True but I do think it is important for any team to have some good outside speed to put pressure on the defense. If all you have is a bunch of possession WR that is pretty easy to defend. I don't think the guy has to be a 4.2 40 runner but I do think it is important to have a WR who defense have to respect from a speed stand point.

Here's a name to watch in draft

Jonathan Orr - WR Wisconsin 6-2 193 with 4.31 speed.

Good hands, athletic and runs good routes. Has the separation to get behind secondary.

Guy to watch later day 1.

How about Devin Hester of Miami in the third round. He is 5-11 185 and reportedly runs in the 4.25 range. I think he would give the Boys a Steve Smith/Santana Moss type receiver.

Totally agree we must add a quality, young WR with good speed & hands (not injury-prone) to complement Glenn. Our passing game was held hostage when Glenn was double-teamed & that can't happen again if we want to go deep in the playoffs; we also need to have quality WR available should Glenn get injuried. Frankly, I think it would be irresponsible for Jerry Jones & Parcells if they don't add such a WR.

Also think Crayton needs to get more playing time & Keyshawn (despite great stats & team attitude) gets less. If we don't make some moves re WR position, we aren't going to win a SB in next 2 years. And yes upgrading OL is top priority this year, but upgrading WR position is also very important. We all will be upset this season if efforts upgrade OL & defense is successful but we held hostage in passing game by injury to Glenn.

Just to clear things up for certain posters.

Those of us that have mentioned that we would like more speed at WR are not, not indicating that we are looking at speed only, ... disregarding the fact that the speedster may have been a double amputee.

We know he needs to be able to catch a football too.

Plus we realize that our offensive line needs improvement and are not suggesting using the entire draft or all of FA to get a fast WR.

Carry on.
I don't think people are listening. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CAN'T UNDERSTAND THIS PLEASE TRY.

We need a speed guy who is a threat deep meaning, he can catch it deep. If you have 2 speed guys on your offense who is a threat to go deep on you, your slot guy or TE can have a field day.

BTW, we will also fix the OLINE. It's not like we are only allowed to draft or get 1 person in FA.

I've got your speed burner right here....

And it comes with a free 2 year warranty. Thank me later, Drew.

personally I would love to have sinorice moss in the later rds, maybe 3rd rd. Even though he is short, he has elite speed, he is a speed burner to the extreme. We need a young speed guy to take over for Glenn because I think Crayton is a good possession receiver. but yes i do agree with your nors.

Yes, we do have Glenn, but teams double him and we are done.

When they blitz, the times we do beat the blitz, it is to KJ or Witten, they get 7, 8, or 9 yds, ... big deal, the defense doesn't care.

But if we get a WR that can take the little 8 yd pass to beat the blitz, make a move and take it to the house, it will limit when and how often teams can blitz us.

We need a WR that scares defenses.
sinorice moss can take a screen pass to the house anytime just like his older bro santana. he is a bit smaller, but he is even faster.

How true....so true.....we need lineman folks!
I agree, but we have 6 draft picks and FA. we can do more than draft linemen. unless you guys want 6 drafted linemen and some fa linemen. :p:

Surprising, you don't often see girls with that kind of speed. I wonder how fast their mom, Senora Moss, can run?
