I'm talking all world fast guy to send deep and open up a defense more. Either draft or FA?

Any thoughts?

Does anyone have the number for Alexander Wright?

Speed and obvious football skills. There are more slow WR's that failed.....

Jevon Walker?

Funny how this thread has jumped to speed, speed, speed as the only solution making the assumption that intangibles like vision and elusiveness mean nothing.

Funny how some can take " speed WR" and make it sound like people are justing wanting a pure track guy with no football skills.

All the talk is about is a WR with speed. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't see what's so hard to comprehend.

Nors are you taking up a collection to buy the speed receiver for Bledsoe?

Those numbers later in the season came against teams that picked in the top 10-12. You know Cleveland,SF, Arizona. What did Bledsoe do against the Giants and Skins and Rams with Terry Glenn's speed. LOL

Evans numbers came all through the year. You wanna know what Bledsoe did with Glenn's speed? How bout the third highest YPC average in the league? Does that do anything for ya?

2nd and 3rd rounders come cheap.

We just need to find the right one!

You mean pathetic cause I don't like your one-dimensional statue qb who has been released from his last two teams because of poor play. Your pathetic for wanting a qb who hasn't taken a team to the playoffs in 7 years. Bledsoe is a dinosaur who can't read defenses and can't get out of his own way. No one will admit that he can't read defenses because he's a pocket qb. And as we all know, only pocket qb's are intelligent enough to read NFL defenses. So why has so many been busts.

Bledsoe was released from the Patriots because some kid named Brady took them to the super bowl, upon Bledsoe's injury.

He was released from the Bills because they GAVE his job to a kid who they had drafted high. Remind me how that worked out for them this year?

How true....so true.....we need lineman folks!

On both sides of the ball. Our run defense was nothing to brag about.

Playoff game this week had an interesting playoff stat - Only 2 QB's since 1970 had gone in after starter went down and won the game.

Bledsoe in 2001 Pitt AFC Champ game. Anyone else see that? Think Earl Morall was the other.

We need TO. We can control him I tell ya! Get TO and patch up the O-line a bit and we have that extra something that turns the Cowboys into a playoff contender. With his presence, and running game will probably improve drastically as well. We need some of these defenders to back off a bit and respect our offense.

How about Devin Hester of Miami in the third round. He is 5-11 185 and reportedly runs in the 4.25 range. I think he would give the Boys a Steve Smith/Santana Moss type receiver.

Yes, definitely!

This guy has tremendous speed and tons of confidence to go with it. He can play WR, CB and ST's and take it to the house at anytime.

You want a playmaker....Hester is the pick.

I thought I heard that Brandon Lloyd is a restricted FA. I'd like to find a way to get him with all of his upside.

Okay, who in the second or third? I think Glenn can still be our speed guy, we need a playmaker. My darkhorse Jovon Bouknight may be a touch slow, and my favorite JRs, Johnnie Lee Higgins of UTEP and Cory Rodgers of TCU, haven't declared. I need a late Day One WR prospect to get excited about.

Okay, duly noted, Hos. He and Bouknight were the two first-team MWC WRs.
Pros: Tall, playmaking deep threat who comes from a football family
Cons: Skinny, non-blocker

I'm leaning to 2nd or 3rd round in draft.....

Yeah. There's no way Bill takes a WR in the first, at least not this year. I think we either go OL, DT or LB with our #1 pick.
