Gordon Keith on the Ticket describes Beasley as:

"Cole Beasley is like the squirrel that gets into your house when the kids leave the patio door open."

That seems pretty accurate.

That's great.

Thought he was overrated before the season, by fans on this board.

Not anymore. He is a tremendous asset to the team.

He is difficult to cover, stronger than he looks, and he catches pretty much everything. Great slot receiver.

I am really starting to wonder if he could be more that just a slot reciever. He very well may be just as effective out wide on early downs. I know he is not the blocker Wiliams is but I am sure he would be able to beat the single coverage that T. Williams is seeing.

Love having Cole on the team, those small WR with the quick step just seem hard for DB to cover. He has been a big help to this team.

The first time I saw him I was worried about how he would hold up to hits because he looked so small. I was glad when he would go down right away after a catch. Here lately, in addition to almost always being open, he's been showing exceptional quickness after the catch and picking up some really good yards that way.

Cole Beasley has been a nice surprise. I would not put him on punt return.

Loved when Da Beas twisted away from those 3 defenders and they all crashed into each other like the Stooges and he waltzed into the end zone.

Luv Da Beas!

I still cringe whenever he's about to take a hit because he just looks so small out there. That said, he sure hasn't been playing small. It seems like defenders have an easy time losing track of this guy.

He's redeemed himself since Thanksgiving. Has been a very valuable asset in the slot. It's hard to keep a man on him. He's so shifty and not that tall compared to the other players. I hope we can try to keep implementing him into our gameplan moving forward. Like the Patriots did with Welker.

A big part of Beasley success is how they use him. Trying to make him an outside receiver would be a bad idea if it's for more than a couple of snaps per game.

Yes. People just don't know it yet because both have been around longer.
Beasley is better than Randall Cobb and Julian Edelman?

I watch almost all Packers games because my GF is a Packers fan. Randall Cobb is a terrific player. I don't see any possibility that Beasley is better. They might be similar when Cobb is playing the slot, but Cobb also plays outside, returns punts/kicks and plays as a RB at times. Cobb has 87 receptions for 1207 yards (13.9 average). Beasley has 31 receptions for 363 yards (11.7 average).

Beasley is terrific in his role. There is no need to try to make him into something else.

I like the Leprechaun. I'd prefer someone like Sproles who can play more than one role but Beas is a NFL player. I agree with @xwalker in that he can play outside for a few. I'd like to see what he can do more but I suspect they don't use him outside more for good reasons. They see him all week not just game day. He deserves some credit.

I think people forget that it's nice to have depth. Guys like Beasley and Escobar don't have to play a huge percentage of the snaps to be highly valuable to the team.
