They made two huge stops in the 4th quarter when we needed it. Very timely and uncharacteristic.. When the offense placed them in some tough situations, they didn't break. Small victories on that side of the ball IMO... For a day, they weren't the #32 ranked defense in the NFL. The guys on the defensive side of the ball earned their paychecks today.

Just like I down played Romo's performance because he was playing against scrubs, same with the Defense. So nice playing against the third back up in a row. If you can't managed to stop at least one of those back up QBs, all these defenders should donate their pay checks. Having said that, nice effort today defense.

Hey I'll take some credit for this win to, without my morale support I'm not sure we pull this win out. No thanks needed, just doing my job. :D

Overall a good defensive outing, at least compared to what we usually see out there. Props to the D for at least not taking a dump on the field today. To win week 17, we'll need a much better effort though, but that goes for the whole team.

Like I said "Small victories on that side of the ball IMO..."

Any victory is noteworthy given the type of year the defense has had. The swiss cheese was mostly absent today.

I like how they kept showing different looks and I love how Scandrick just went to Garçon in the 4th. I think Carr may still be feeling effects from flu.

I actually agreed with your original post, but we have big things coming. We need to get ready to play the big boys.

anyone notice we played alot of 3-4 (ware standing up alot) I guess to give the skins a new look and maybe to try and get ware going.

And those 2nd and 3rd string QB's were playing against a defense made up street ball players. It goes both ways.

Def surely came through back to back possessions , now if only Ware gets back to Ware.... sigh!

Good luck with that.
Sad too....if this was even 90% of the Ware we knew, the defense would be inifintely better.

I think Ware is playing hurt. Regardless.. He still has been a shell of his former self for weeks now.

Good luck with that.

It was very nice hearing the DE-FENCE cheer going up in the stadium in the fourth quarter. LOTS of Cowboys fans. I guess that isn't unusual but this was my first NFL game and I didn't expect SO many.

congrats man! I was yelling DE-FENCE at the eagles home game this year! And I was the only one!!!!!!

My only request for next week is to keep Claiborne off the field at all costs. #disasterwaitingtohappen

played well esp considering the players. I'll have to look at the snaps to see who played at some positions
