I heard Cowher come out and say he is not interested in coaching in Dallas..All the more reason I believe he will be here..He can draft and knows 3-4 defense..Which is what we need..He is the best fit..gruden has too many skeletons in closet..Cowher I think will be here..Believe me him coming out saying he's not interested sounds fishy..Especially when you havent sat down in front of Jerra. Let's go Romo! Let's go Ware! Let's go Felix! Let's go Dez! Let's go Newman! Get out Buehler, Roy, Olshanski, Brooking, Barber!

I'll be glad when Cowher and Gruden are hired by other teams so this talk will stop. Personally, I don't want to see either one of them in Dallas.

Who says he can draft?

Didn't Donahoe run most of the drafts while Cowher was in Pittsburgh?

Also this guy thought Cordell Stewart was an NFL QB.

Next.

He won't have to worry about doing any of that in Dallas.

Okay...so if I say I hate broccoli, that means I really don't?

Exactly right, he hung his hat on Stewart and got killed and again right about the drafts. He wasn't the architect that built a powerhouse like Jimmy. Cowher was as much a result of the Steeler organization and culture as coaches are here of the Cowboy organization and culture.

One stays consistently competitive one does not.

It amazes me that some people think so little and know so little about the situation that they actually think Cowher and/or Gruden and/or Fisher would actually be a good coach here. I am willing to bet that 99% of those that want these coaches here know next to nothing about those coaches other than their famous last name...which is a brilliant we to judge a possible head coach.

Agreed.

Neither of those 2 blow my skirts up. I will also be glad when they get jobs elsewhere so that we can STOP hearing about all of this nonsense of hiring them.

I believe Gruden will be here next season and will lift us back to glory...
BTW, I may not know EVERYTHING about him but could still care less what "veterano" posters feel about it. It's not like what WE say and think is gonna influence the decisions made by Jerry.
In other words, chill out with the poster almighty bit.

Give me Garrett at HC/OC and Dom Capers as DC and we will be just fine.

Our offense has averaged something like 27 points a game with 38 year old QB.

Fix the defense and we will be just fine. Unless Cowher is bringing Dick LeBeau, he isn't fixing the defense.

Off-season moves:

Justin Blaylock
David Harris

Ditto.

= irony

:laugh2:

Lets see, he wasnt the final authority drafting in Pittsburgh and Dick LeBeau was the mastermind of his defenses. Lets go ahead and give a guy that has one championship in 14 years full control over the organization.

LOL..I am amazed of the silly love of a coach who spent almost 2 decades coaching a big franchise and managing 1 SB (Which was awarded to him by refs) and the very next year his SB champs didn't even make playoffs

Cowher is one of the most overrated coaches I have ever seen...
and he needs to thank Dick Lebeau for that

Maybe it's the chin :confused::confused::confused:
