Yes, I know what the following responses below will read. "Never root for Philly, ever." "I always want the Eagles to lose." "You're a traitor." Etc.etc. Whatever.

But I am pragmatic and will root hard for Philly to take out the Bears and Saints, the two toughest teams in the NFC this postseason, and do Dallas' dirty work for it. Then, of course, lose to the Boys in the NFC title game and send Dallas on to Super Bowl LIII.

For the next two weeks I will be 100% Cowboys fan and also 99% Eagles fan.

If we beat Seattle, I will absolutely root for Philly to beat the Bears. That would mean we'd go play a weaker team where we will have tons of fans. As opposed to playing in New Orleans in that hostile environment. Now if we lose to Seattle, then I'll root for the Bears. I will only root for them if it benefits us. I'd root for them to beat the Saints as well if we somehow beat the Rams as well. Take the NFC title game at home.

I am all for the Eagles beating the Bears, but I'd rather eat meat crawling with maggots than see the Eagles beat the Saints in the dome and have to face that team at home. If the eagles beat us at home in the NFC championship we'll never hear the end of it. It's bad enough they keep bringing up that championship game from the revolutionary period when they were favored to win and won. Imagine if they beat us at home? No thanks. Give me the Saints.

Oh and BTW, isn't Sudfeld starting for the Eagles? If that's the case they're not getting past the Bears.

I understand this line of thinking, makes sense.

Will be kind of surprised if Philly beats Chicago though.

Especially considering the Eagles were on the road last week. Two consecutive road games the 2nd of which in a place where pretty much no one wants to go.

But, anything is possible.

Uhh if the Eagles beat the Bears then the Eagles are better than the Bears..

The Foles factor is real..

I don’t want to have to play the same team a third time, especially a rival...

IM with you, but they aren't beating the bears if Jesus himself is starting for them.

So tough to play that third game against a good team coming off two big road wins. IND reminded us of that.
