Randle went from a punch line to a viable part of our offense. It's nice to know that he and Dunbar can come in and give us a change of pace. They are different types of runners and they've proven themselves over the season. Too bad Dunbar didn't get credit for his electrifying run where he actually slowed down to ensure he would score. We are so fortunate to have Murray, but I feel good about the 1-2-3 punch. Murray doesn't have to do it alone.

----------------------------------------

Overall, we are loaded on offense and the defense is really coming on strong. As far as special teams, we have Bailey (nuff said) and Harris has looked better of late. We have flaws like every other team, but it has been so long since we could be this optimistic about our chances.

Randle is still a punch line, just sayin..lol!

More like Randle knows how to stand in a line...up. lol...

In all seriousness, he looks ten times better than he did last year along with Dunbar, so it is a testament to how good this line is.

I want to see more Randle. I think he could go off with this line.

Agreed.

I understand the coaching staff trusts DeMarco Murray, but considering his contract status, injury history and Joseph Randle's upside, more snaps seemed in order for the back-up this season.

And I hated to see Lance Dunbar's long scoot get called back by an iffy penalty on Jason Witten.

I liked how all three worked, but more importantly it was great Dallas stayed committed to the run. This time we didnt abandon it as fast as yesteryears.

Randle looks slow in the scrum but in the open field he has some straight line speed

I would strongly suggest you review his TD run against Chicago.

When you give him a small hole he has tremendous burst to get through it and then can make moves at the second level.

He doesn't have the power of Murray to barge forward a yard or two when nothing is there but he has enough power to get the job done as a RB.

I think we draft a RB and go RB by committee next year with the rookie, Randle and Dunbar.

I hate the salary cap - I would like to reward Murray for his play but someone will pay him more than we can afford with other roster needs.

Randle got us a nice late TD but let's not forget, that he put the ball on the ground last week as well.

If Randle bulks up a bit in the offseason without losing quickness and speed he could be a very special player.

He's just very inexperienced at this level. He needs to learn to get down on the ground in those situations ASAP. It took Dez and Murray awhile to learn those lessons, too.

Randle has speed; He is not murray. I think Murray moves the chains. when, im not sure randle could do....

the OLLINE wont break wide open holes like that every play. and murray is tough, get those 3 yards kinda back, when that isnt there.

however, murray lacks speed. and when the OLINE blows it all open, and its there, randle takes it to the house with speed and shifty moves.

Murray is the guy who gets the load, imho.

also, about the punch line, i credit the organization and teammates on randle being able to play. yeah, Witten got on him. He deserved it. He is young. but i love the way the players ...and organization took an approach of ...."rallying around him" for a second chance. thats a teammate/ thats someone who is in the family. and family members rally around members when they need it. there is a limit to all that. but , its my impression that what the locker room and organization did. rally around him. he is young. he will mature...... i hope.
