As it has for the last 30 years, it all begins and ends with GM Jerry Jones.

Until he is no longer in charge, there is no change.

It begins and ends with this. Head coach, QB, all of it. We will continue to be average until the GM fires himself and stay out of the spotlight. Unfortunately, that will not happen.

May we mention the fact that more than one Cowboys coaching staff has wasted inordinate time & resources trying to mold Dak into a classic pocket-passer...something he never has been, and never will be? I think the guy could play very well, if not being a round peg stuffed into an uncomfortable square hole. The preferred, Jones-approved system in DAL has never really worked for him (except financially).

Fun fact: Marty Schottenheimer was told you get the chargers over the hump in the playoffs or we’re not bringing you back next year

Marty went out there and went 14-2…..loss the first game of the playoffs and was promptly fired

You know why? BECAUSE THEY HAD SEEN THE CEILING AND KNEW THAT WITH HIM ITS ONLY DOWNHILL FROM THERE!!!!

They've been trying to develop a system he can work within.
You cannot overcome below average skills without mobility.
Apparently everyone knows this except the moron who offered him a contract.
