The consensus top players in this year's draft at the start of the process were:

-QB-Ward/Sanders
-RB-Jeanty
-WR-T-Mac
-OL-Campbell/Banks
-Edge-Carter/Williams/Pierce
-DT-Graham
-CB-Hunter/Johnson
-S-Starks

Sure the process has changed some of the rankings, but these players remain the blue/red chips of this year's class. After a few others who have rose, big drop-off in value. At 12, Cowboys remain in excellent position to take one of these prospects.

I think you can cross off QB and S as they will not be considered as needs by this organization.

Ward/Jeanty/Hunter/Graham/Carter/Johnson will be gone.

Not a fan of T-Mac - seems to have work ethic issues.

Membou should be on this list.

Prospect Fatigue is real…

Golden, Membou, Waker etc are all nice and fun. Combine warriors always climb up the draft board.

The original list is a bunch of dudes that have been good for a long time and talked about for a long time so people want to talk about new players.

Work ethic issues cause of a video? Dud has put up back to back monster seasons.

No successful team thinks like this. Eagles just proved last year with taking Mitchell who was not high on experts list until the combine.

we're not that lucky, we pick a guy like that, he leads the league in yards he's giving up!!

T-Mac should be pink.

I disagree, adding a playmaker to pair with CDL will help Dak and the offense tremendously.
I would rather they go defense but it's not as likely at this point because I assume they will take the WR over probably not the best edge or a CB. Now if Carter or Graham falls...

And if it comes down to drafting a RB way to early in a super deep class, taking another OT or TetMcM, again I'll take the WR.

It’s Jeanty or bust for me still. Yes I know he will probably get picked earlier. But don’t be surprised if we see 3 QB’s go in top 10. Pitts could trade up and so could another team. What I’m worried about is someone trading with SF at #11 if Jeanty is still on the board.

"Prospect fatigue" is a dismissive term downplaying the the entire process of player evaluation. If you can't dispute the knocks on a player then it's valid the player falls down the board.

Sounds like he runs poor routes. Is lazy when he knows the ball is not going to him. He strictly relies on his size. No way I am taking him at 12.

I am not a fan at picking a receiver at 12 but Golden looks more like an NFL player than Tet does to me. I am sorry but Tet is a big possession receiver. The Cowboys need speed and route running.

Its really this simple. If you're good enough prospect fatigue doesn't affect you. Remember to Hampton better than jeanty talk? Yeah that disappeared quick because it was cap. The tet talk sticks because there's validity to it

being a guy who doesn't watch a lot of college football, and familiarizes myself with prospects during the offseason, it's wild how much ish changes over a matter of two - three months AFTER the games end lol

100% and we could most likely trade down and still get him.
