Dez is an elite talent
He needs to stay healthy but there is no doubt he can bring another deminsion to this offense
What i would like to see is more crossing routes to get the ball in his hands because he is dangerous with the ball in his hands

Dez is overrated and anyone can come up with a highlight reel. He is good, but not great and is injury prone. He better play his heart out the rest of the year or I would trade his arse.

Dez has had two fluke injuries. Outside of that, he's played 75/80 career games. He has 60 TDs in those 75 games. That's an average of 13 per year. That's great.

Week 2, Dez moved around and created mismatches. Even week 3, the first pass was to Dez. This offense is going to feature him for once. I am excited for it.

Yeah, I'm kind of sick of him being a decoy. Maybe it works - I'm not pretending to know more than the staff - but as fan, I simply love watching the guy make plays.

Just having him on the field makes us a better team. The defense has to account for him. Usually by shading a safety to his side. Even if he's a decoy.
You are right, but if he does not return to form, they will eventually load up the box again. I'm rooting for him, we are much better with him playing like we know he can.

Those highlights are from years ago. He's only made one highlight play since the 2014 season and it was a 51 yard contested catch for a TD vs Philly last season. The title of the thread should read "Let's not forget what Dez could do" until he proves he can get back to the level of play in those highlights.

Why wouldn't he be the same guy? He's Past his prime at 27 YO? Or will never recover from a broken foot?

I don't think its fair to judge Dez on his 2015 season. As I said in the OP give he and Dak more time together and he'll impress again.

At 27 he should be in the prime of his career but he hasn't proven he's the same player since the foot surgery. Hakeem Nicks was never the same player after suffering the same injury.

Dez actually very much looked like the same player this year until he got injured again... And it wasn't even a foot injury.

I look at the trend, they made it a point to get him involved and create mismatches week 2 and then week 3, he received the first target and then he got hurt.

You move Dez around, he's good enough to be matchup proof. I just hope he can stay healthy.
