Dez actually very much looked like the same player this year until he got injured again... And it wasn't even a foot injury.

You couldn't possibly be watching this season if you believe that. He did nothing in the opener and was being shutdown by Josh Norman against Washington, making catches against the other corner. He hasn't come close to looking like the player he was 2 years ago.

At 27 he should be in the prime of his career but he hasn't proven he's the same player since the foot surgery. Hakeem Nicks was never the same player after suffering the same injury.

Hakeem nicks was never EVER the player Dez is. Julio Jones is a more apt comparison and he bounced back just fine.

We've already seen Dez make effortless tough catches from Dak in the preseason, and featured all over the field with success.

As stated above, his presence alone will open the red zone up considerably.

Lol just lol.

Athletically? Yes. He looked like the same guy.

I haven't reviewed the film so I can't speak to the validity of how he actually did against Norman.

Hakeem Nicks was a very good receiver but was never the same after he suffered the same injury. Julio Jones bounced back the very next season after his injury and put up almost 1600 yards...next!

Earlier in his career he found ways to get it done. He's always had problems gaining separation but it's gotten worse since the foot injury. He's becoming injury prone and his numbers speak to how far he's fallen.

So a broken foot is going to have a longterm impact on a 27 YO world class athlete? Huh. And no, it wasn't the same injury that Nicks suffered. Not that Nicks' issues were due to a single injury.

Stop spreading false information.

2013 NFL Groin Nicks strained his groin and missed the first few weeks of camp
2013 NFL Ankle Nicks left the last game of the season with an ankle sprain.
2012 NFL Foot Nicks fractured his right foot and had a surgery when he hurt his foot on the team's second organized activity of the offseason,
2012 NFL Foot Downgraded to out on the night's game against the Carolina Panthers because of a (right)foot injury. Missed a total of 3 games
2011 NFL Leg Nicks left the Cardinals game after hurting his right leg.
2010 NFL Leg Suffered from compartment syndrome which is swelling in the lower right leg compressing nerves and blood vessels. Missed one game after this
2010 NFL Foot Broke big toe on his left foot and and needed surgery.
2009 NFL Foot Sprained his foot and had to leave the game
2007 College Ankle Nicks left game at college with a high ankle sprain

According to what's been posted it was the same injury and Dez played on it when he should have been shut down. Julio didn't play on the injury and came back like brand new. Dez also suffered an ankle injury that needed surgery along with his foot.

KJJ, this isn't a Dez injury discussion. This discussion is about his return.

How do you think he will do? Stay with me...

He's had two fluke injuries as a result of contact. That's not what injury prone is. Seriously, the place sometimes...

He had a foot injury that cost him several games last season and he also injured his ankle which required surgery. This season he injured his knee and it's cost him three games. He's become injury prone.

He has 3 games since the foot injury with full health. In one of those games he went over 100 yards. In the other game he scored a touchdown. And in the other he had a dud in the first game of a 4th round rookie's first regular season start.

Give me a break.

Fans are fickle.

I'm just always thankful people like you don't actually have any ability to influence personnel decisions.

Lord help us if KJJ had any input in our beloved franchise, Toruk.

Just the thought is enough to invoke nausea and the runs.

Hilarious because he had no clue about Norman on Dez, picked it up from another poster in the last Dez hate thread, and now includes it in every diatribe. He's got the timeline wrong which shows how well he sees the field. Give a dog a bone I guess.
