Our schedule this year is easier.

Easier? The worst AFC East Team, New England, would have won the AFC South last year. The south winner won 9 games, and the other 3 teams are drafting in the top 11. That’s 4 dramatically harder games 2022.

Then it’s 2022 NFC West vs 2021 NFC North. 49ers are worlds better than the Vikings. Seahawks are better than the packers, 2022 Rams vs 2021 Lions is iffy depending on how the Rams defense looks this year, as the lions didn’t have one.

But the Lions will be much improved this year, making their 2022 appearance on your schedule more difficult than the 2021 Rams were. 2022 Chargers aren’t as good as the 2021 bengals, but the difference isn’t nearly as dramatic as the aforementioned Rams-Lion.

It is a significantly more difficult schedule.

My bad. I thought I had read that the Cowboys had the 28th hardest strength of schedule in 2023. Im seeing where its the 3rd hardest. last year was 10th hardest. So harder, but not much.

Regardless. Any notion of 9-8 is ridiculous without big injuries.

I got 13-4 as well, if and only if McCarthy does what he claims with the way we want our identity to be.

Don’t think we can win big with him trying to be an air it out playcaller. We’d still be a possible playoff team but more due to the conference.

Exactly. It means even without our best QB, we still went 4-1. What part are you having trouble understanding? This is about how good the team is.

yes Roy is a dak fan, so he ignores what rush did.
It actually had a lot to do with the 12-5, rush was 4-1 dak was 8-4. If dak doesnt get hurt there is no guarantee they win the 4 games rush won.
Rush won 4 wins in a row, dak had 4 in a row. And IMO dak would have lost the 1st phil game ant at least one of the others, leading to a 11-6 record.

He deals in absolutes that come from how he sees things, which is pretty simple minded.
Like last year they won 12 so since they added 2 guys to the team they will now win 12 or more again !!! Screw all the variables ! lol

Example is dallas losing to SF, that was a game they should have won but didnt. and that is something you cant see when you look
at a list of teams dallas will play.
Dallas lost to wash badly in the last game, how do you explain that? Lost to the jags, no one would have predicted that game as a loss.
