Lets root on Ben Dinucci

Rookie.
No OTAs
No pre season games
No OL.

Kid was set up to fail....

dear fellow fanzone freaks--- Ben Dinucci is an accurate passer and he has some wiggle as

a runner...why not root for him for some kind of miraculous win over the hated Sheagles??

man dont make me resurrect the Platinums i shot dead in my backyard...why not have

a little fun...everything has sucked for us this year

GORICO
No. I’m not rooting for anyone who only throws to the third best receiver.

I see no NFL skills in DiNucci.

He has no pocket awareness. He has horrible mechanics. He has horrible accuracy.

He has very little touch on the ball. He's almost a line-of-sight quarterback bordering on the level of Brandon Weeden.

Some quarterbacks you can see some potential that just requires a couple of years to mature, but I just do not see it with him.

I don’t want to pile on the kid.

but this post is spot on.

There was nothing about his play tonight that impressed or showed anything to me.

nothing.

He didn’t have a single impressive pass.

his mechanics suck.
His arm didn’t look impressive.

I understand the poor awareness given his youth and being his first start.

But the physical skills..... there was nothing there that impressed. Nothing.

He holds the ball too long.

He located the worst receiver on the field in every pass play and throws to them.

He’s terrible.. I hope he plays the rest of the year.

It was a tall order for him coming in tonight. We were all hoping for more, maybe a TD, a few good drives, and a few big throws. However, he was a 7th round rookie QB without a lot of off season prep. Those thinking he could be the next Romo, he had 2+ seasons of learning before even seeing the field. I like Ben's fight, but had Dalton played tonight he would have given the Cowboys the best shot right now.
