If the season plays out like you state, I clean house. It will take a couple of years and mean playing with undrafted free agents and draft picks, but there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.
Just think, the Bears have a better record than the Cowboys and are scheduled to be $50 million under the cap next season. Everyone making any money at all is gone. Including my favorite Tony Romo.
There is only one problem with this thinking. Jerry needs to sell tickets and to do that he has to keep the Cowboys relevant. They don't need to win a Super Bowl or even make the playoffs. For Jerry it's all about that darn stadium, and putting bodies in seats. So don't expect any change. Come next time to renew their season tickets, Jerry will have the ticket buyers convinced they have turned the thing around. It may never change with Jerry..
