If the season plays out like you state, I clean house. It will take a couple of years and mean playing with undrafted free agents and draft picks, but there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

Just think, the Bears have a better record than the Cowboys and are scheduled to be $50 million under the cap next season. Everyone making any money at all is gone. Including my favorite Tony Romo.

There is only one problem with this thinking. Jerry needs to sell tickets and to do that he has to keep the Cowboys relevant. They don't need to win a Super Bowl or even make the playoffs. For Jerry it's all about that darn stadium, and putting bodies in seats. So don't expect any change. Come next time to renew their season tickets, Jerry will have the ticket buyers convinced they have turned the thing around. It may never change with Jerry..

I agree, bring in a young Stud rookie QB, and fans will get hyped up. By fans I mean the Fair Weather fans, for the most part die hards on here will excited, but will stay grounded.

Romo is my favorite player, behind Dez, but if we could trade him and get a real good young QB to play with Dez, I would do it.

I would draft Teddy B. outta Louisville or Jordan Lynch outta NIU at QB. Manziel is a ticking time bomb. The kid has talent but is just too risky to drop a 1st round pick on, IMO.

The only way back to winning is drafting the OL and DL heavy, i.e. first 3 rounds at least.

Thats why we will go Safety, CB, LB and so on....
Sexy picks sell in this business. And a business it is for the man at top.

We know JJ is here, so why people keep bringing up a GM is a mute point. So why do they keep doing it. Anyway, that will never change.
He won't fire JG, not after this year. JG is here a long as Romo is here.
It does not make any sense to do whole sale changes right now. They will not change the offense as long as Romo is at QB. The defense will not change either. MK gets another year, to get players via the draft. FA is not the answer, even if they had salary cap room.
Marinelli will eventually take over for MK.

This team and players will be 60% at least the same as this year. New players from the draft and some bargain basement FA's.
Now, that's not all that bad, as look at all the possible players on the roster now, that will create some very good competition in TC next year. Look what Marinelli has done with them so far.
Key, as usual, and over said is staying healthy.

You just can't make big changes every year. I think they need to stay with what they have. Change it now, then you have 5 years of the same. Yes we had te same for years, but if you really look at it, there have been improvements. We been in every game this year except against the Saints. and if you look at that game, they recover an on side kick. If they go and get a TD, that would got us to within 11. But that's a mute point.
Last year they were playing from behind every game, not that way this year.

"moot" point ;)
