Lets start being honest about a few things

I'll give credit where credit is due. I thought Williams played well today. Henry also played well. Good to see them rebound.

I think its a given that Julius walks and a running back is drafted to pair with Barber (or Micheal Turner is signed).

They are comparing him to Favre. I think he's better than Favre ever was right now...... and is getting better.

* Marion Barber should be the primary running back with J. Jones as the change up player.

If this game is any indication, it seems Garrett's leaning that way as well.

* Roy Williams is a liability in the passing game AND the running game.

There is something wrong with his head certainly, but give him props for the pick at least.

* Romo is the real deal.

He is well on his way, but we have also beaten two bad teams to get to 2-0. I hope he improves some of the oddball throws we saw today; some were pretty risky.

* Jason Garrett is an amazing offensive coordinator already.

Much like Romo, it's very encouraging.

* It will be tough to win against a quality team with DBs playing 10-12 yards off the line of scrimmage.

Definitely agree; I don't see what this is buying the defense.

* Spencer is getting better. Dallas is in a good position for next few years with Ware and Spencer.

Agreed. Consistency is the key.

* I like how folk kicks...hits it straight on. You dont see the the ball hook much on his field goal attemps. Great poise for a rookie.

The FGs are impressive, the kickoffs aren't, considering his leg strength is his biggest asset. I expect that will improve as the season goes on.

* Garrett needs to toss that screen play to Hoyte. It didnt work last week and it didnt work this week. Stop trying to throw him the ball...he is an ex linebacker for goodness sake.

Hoyte is not exactly a sure thing on pass plays, whatever progress he's supposed to have made in TC. It's still a work in progress. Romo's throw to him didn't look particularly good, but Hoyte was thinking upfield instead of about making the catch as well.

Romo, Garrett, Barber, McBriar,Ware and Spencer are very good reasons to smile. I will also go out on a limb and say that T.O. is having his most enjoyable year. I have to cut Reeves some slack if he starts to improve but I am pretty disappointed with JJ. I would play Thompson more and look to pick up Turner or McFadden if we get so lucky. If not we have 2 first round picks that could be traded around a bit to get an extra first rounder at a lower spot obviously. For the first time in years I am happy with where they are, 2-0 and looking good.
