The Titans beat the Chiefs at home last week, that says a lot since Arrowhead is a tough place to get a win. Looking at the numbers the Titans gave up less than 250 yards total defense. Was KC that bad on offense or were the Titans playing really good defense? If the Titans defense is for real it could be a long day, but then again one game doesn't make a trend either. On way or another high noon on Sunday will be upon us before we know it.

Yea. And they beat them handily.

If Romo starts out bad again, it might not be a bad idea to bring in Weeden to drive the bus. He should be sufficient enough to beat them.

I don't pick Cowboys in fantasy anymore. Only exception I was willing to make was Dez and I didn't get him.

I know that I'll always take them higher than I would an equal player and have been bitten by that too much.

I play for money so I give them an honest evaluation. I drafted Romo in like the 9th round. He is one of the more consistent fantasy QBs.

Hopefully.

I own Romo in fantasy and he is always money for me.

Decisions aside he just looked different physically.

To me he did not look different, he still showed the ability to escape pressure with his legs and only thing I saw was a QB who was indecisive and was not making the right reads.

This is a much needed post. For me anyway. I'm tired of hearing about the 9ers game. They really need to pull this win out to salvage this season. Some may say its to early to do that but that 1st game really left a bad taste in the mouth of people and sort of enforced some of the doubts we had before the season. And worst of all.....we don't know what Tony Romo is anymore. A nice bounce back game would do wonders for us right now.

I saw a veteran QB make a couple throws that no one in their right mind would have made and it scared the bejezums out of me. I couldn't believe that he was still making these types of mistakes. Hope he cleans it up or our season will be over by the halfway mark.

I'm in a couple of leagues. I try to stay away from Cowboys because I honestly can't enjoy Cowboys as as a fan with fantasy players on it lol. But I couldn't pass up Demarco, Dez and Romo. I got Romo in the 9th round as well otherwise I would've stayed away from him. I knew Demarco would be alright if healthy and be worthy of a 2nd round selection.

The zip on his throws was not there and his feet didn't look as nimble as usual either.

Either way I need his 30 td passes and I'll have to switch QBs if I don't see him looking like a healthy player.

Demarco, Dez, and Romo are money in fantasy.

Demarco has health issues but if he stays healthy he is as good of a back as anyone.

Starts with coaching. Good move by the Titans picking up Wisenhunt and Ray Horton has them playing an aggressive brand of defense. They got some hitters at safety in Michael Griffin and Bernard Pollard and very physical up front. Demarco Murray will present a different challenge from Jamaal Charles as they are different runners but make no mistake thats a good football team over there and I expect this is going to be closer than most of you want.

I agree he made some bonehead throws, he missed open targets and forced into heavy coverage. I have made no excuses for him but I do expect him to get himself turned around.

If Romo doesn't get going the Titans should win easily.

This will obviously be a very critical game for the Cowboys because if they lose it will be the first 0-2 start under Garrett and their first 0-2 start since the forgettable 2010 season when they finished 6-10. I hate to say this is a must win game for the Cowboys with 14 games left but with the Saints and Brees coming up in week 4 and having to go to Seattle (OUCH) in week 6 you can pretty much stick a fork in the Cowboys season if they start off 0-2. They simply don't have the team to recover from an 0-2 start especially with the schedule they have. Tenn looked good last week winning on the road at KC by 16 and Locker looked very solid passing for 266 yards, 2 TD's and finishing with a passer rating of 111.4.

Tenn has to be feeling pretty good about themselves heading into week 2 and their fans are going to be revved up for the Cowboys on Sunday. This certainly won't be an easy game for the Cowboys coming off their dismal performance vs SF. I'm sure they realize what a critical game this is knowing it's going to be extremely difficult rebounding from an 0-2 start. If Romo picks up where he left off last week forcing throws into double and triple coverage it's going to be another long game and a very long season.

I don't want a fresh start. I want them to remember the embarrassment they suffered through last week. That's how you improve, that's how you get real motivation. Redeeming themselves will only happen if the thought of last week's pathetic performance is seared in their memory.

The Titans have a surprisingly good team. I suspect the game plan defensively will be about the same as it was against the 9ers. Stop the run and contain Locker and make him beat you with his arm. Let's see how that works out.

Locker isn't the runner that Kap is, but he is better than most NFL QB's with his legs.
