Let's start over - Cowboys vs Titans

They're certainly not okay with it they're clearly striving to get better but they don't have the direction, talent or coaching to get better. Most everyone who isn't a Cowboys homer has predicted doom and gloom for this team. An 8-8 record or worse is doom and gloom in my book and that's pretty much what most of the predictions have been except for a few FANS here who predicted 10-6 to 11-5.

Okay... we just have different definitions of "doom and gloom".

they will dare us to go the length of field ,they wont crowd the box and force romo to beat their secondary.

I did a little Titan reading. They do.

They lost Zach Brown to injury this past sunday. I know he was a really good backer for them.

I don't know how much he will be missed, but he was one of the fastest LB's in the NFL, if not the fastest (Shazier probably beat him out this season).

If they don't put much up in the box, we'll run on them all day... assuming the coaching staff finally is sticking with the run.

Regardless of what your definition is of doom and gloom there's a lot of sub 500 predictions for the Cowboys this season and that spells doom and gloom to many.

Only if they are right. I'm not too sure they are.

Myth 1: KC is a tough place to play. This simply isn't true. Don't get stuck in the 90's. Arrowhead is plenty easy enough a place to win at.
Myth 2: KC is a good team. Their Defense was worse than Dallas' down the stretch last year. Their offense has one weapon in Charles, and their offensive line is not very good. Their receiving threats are non-existent. And the Chiefs barely even used their best player. They overachieved last year, and they are not nearly as good a team this year.

The Titans win was not all that impressive. They're an okay team, but extremely beatable.

The definition of "doom and gloom" for fans nowadays is a lot different than when the Cowboys had great teams. Fans today have become immune to the 8-8 seasons the Cowboys have been having. Because the team has been in contention the past 3 seasons entering week 17 these 500 seasons don't look that bad to some. Back in the 70's when the Cowboys had great teams a 500 season that kept the team home for the playoffs would have spelled doom and gloom for the fan base.

I remember when the Cowboys went 8-6 in 1974 and missed the playoffs that was doom and gloom for the standards that were set at that time. The standards have sadly changed for fans today anything above 500 that gets the Cowboys in the playoffs is viewed as a successful season even if the team goes one and out.

I expect the Cowboys to bounce back, especially Romo.

I hope Tony bounces back. This is quite unusual. I'm not sure what to think. This is why Sun can't get here soon enough. Questions will be answered.

The Cowboys did nothing on Sunday to help prove anyone wrong except for the hopeful optimists out there.

That could have some social redemption if could just find....the Ripple bottle.

Quit trying to muscle in on Deion Sander and Bill Cowher disdain...

Just be prepared for future indicators, both good and bad. The question then comes up as to which ones are just short termed and will change as well.

You just said a mouth full. Somebody needs to be held accountable for not running the ball. I don't care if it's Romo. It's absurd.

Cowboys and the Titans are about on the same plain, so I expect this to be a close game.

We should run it down their throats, but knowing us we probably won't.

I think this is a decent matchup for Dallas. If Romo doesn't melt down like he did last week, Cowboys should win a close one.
