Looks like he needs to gain about 15 pounds of muscle, looks miniature out there next to his teammates and opposing dline.

Allowed 1 sack in two seasons in college, allowed 3 in one game in the NFL. But I cant say all 3 are his fault, there's a player behind him that holds onto the ball way too long.

What player?

He's a tackle playing guard. He will either replace Collins or Smith in the future. He won't be a long term fill at guard.

I said it before, Collins should be playing left guard and Williams should be playing right tackle....Williams is still a kid, he'll get bigger and stronger in the coming years but his footwork is much better than Collins who has trouble with speed rushers in space...

My guess is the team was willing to stick him in there and have him take his lumps knowing that he was sandwiched between Tyron and Fred. I can't argue with the thought.

With Fred out and Tyron not looking All Pro anymore, that approach starts to fall apart.

They have no choice but to stick with it at this point.

He Needs to Play RT where he Plays against lighter quicker dudes so he can use his quickness and footwork.

If he Plays against 300 Pounders inside he will get pushed back like a doll

This seems obvious to me, I don't understand why they wouldn't do that.

It will, Cooper looked like garbage next to Green, while green looked like hot garbage

I think they've had yet another "choice" fall into their laps. Just like George Iloka did, but they ignored that one thinking they could get Earl Thomas whenever they wanted.

But Jonathan Cooper played well for this team at least guard last year and he's sitting out there on the market. If nothing else, the guy can anchor much better and won't be getting run over like the rookie is. But as always with Cooper, it's about his health.

I would certainly sign him to have another option. He's definitely better than the backups the team has now, so they do have a choice.

Snacks Harrison is licking his chops as we speak.

Connor needs to be moved into a blocking TE until he can gain more strength and put Edwards in at LG. It can't get any worse. He gave up 3 sacks for crying out loud. As bad as the offense and Dak looked no QB can escape pressure right up the middle.

We should have either extended Ron Leary or kept Lael playing Guard.

Connor Williams would rather show off his body in a swimsuit on social media that beef up and play inside with the big boys.

Not bad at all. Held up very well against that D-line. Was bull rushed a few times but will improve here. Dak held the ball way to long last night.

Once the pressure gets in the QB's head he feels it every play.
Dak is very limited. Having this guy get blown up week after week isnt going to help anyone.

i will never understand why some people can only think / react in extreme terms.
The kid didn't look good throughout pre-season and it carried over into the first game. While, he may turn out to be a solid player in the future, it might be more wise to have a plan B and have a more experienced guy start especially against a good and aggressive DL and work him in. Getting game experience for the future is great, but it affects the team now. Why put a player in a spot to struggle when you know they're not ready for it?
