A win over the Giants is important because it would be a divisional win at home. It would result in the Giants falling well back in the division race. A loss will put the Giants right back into the thick of things. We don't want that.

Winning six straight is terrific and all, but that's not the primary reason why this game is important.

To me, it is important to win for the Cowboys to show that this season is different. That we aren't patting ourselves on the back for winning some games.
In the past several seasons, every time we would show a little progress by doing something positive, we would flop and lose when we shouldn't.

If we come out and play the way we have been playing, with no let-down, and beat the NYG by 10 or so, .. it would say a LOT!!
