Is it me?

Or is there something about this guy's approach that just makes him like a pro's pro?

We talk about Parson's leadership, and that's great. I agree he's a great leader in the locker room. But Kearse is a put your money where your mouth is for the team kind of guy. In my opinion, as he gets longer in the tooth, he's the player I have most enjoyed watching grow as a player, how he handles it, and the maturity he had and gained while playing here. IMO, he's the perfect match for the type of player Dan Quinn would want, and that chemistry with our team has been fun to watch.

Parcells thought the safety position was "easy to hide" while Quinn puts an emphasis and makes it the forefront of the defense, at times. It's been interesting to see.

That, along with how much Jayron Kearse has grown as a leader, could really work out for the team.

Eh, he’s a player who fits into a niche in the scheme Quinn likes to run. Outside of that niche he’s an athletically limited journeyman type player. Believing otherwise is probably over thinking!

I like that he plays hard, but we don’t hear him commenting on everything every week. He’s all about team.

The most important type of leadership grows with time, not diminiishing. Concisement with discipline is mandatory and team building. He fully commits and pays for his team heart.

Who knows why 3 teams let him walk. All I know is he, Wilson and Hooker have made a world of difference in the Dallas backfield.
Again there’s some athletic limitations (slow) where he doesn’t really fit the position in the traditional way. He fits into Quinn’s niche of a safety/WiLL LB hybrid. He was a really good safety at Clemson whose draft stock plummeted after running 4.6s!

Please, coach. Inform us lesser fans know why.
Lol, he was in Minnesota for 4 seasons starting around 4 games in that span. Was released towards the end of the following season by the lions ( started 7 games injury replacement) finished the season on the Ravens practice squad. But hey, maybe the coaches on those 3 teams all missed it!!!

Different league than parcels days
Kearse plays more like a LB than safety much of the time as does wilson
Quinn is really good at putting players in a position to suceed
Even Fowler was fairly productive last year
I think that’s why guys like to play for him
