Let's Talk About Jayron Kearse

Is it me?

Or is there something about this guy's approach that just makes him like a pro's pro?

We talk about Parson's leadership, and that's great. I agree he's a great leader in the locker room. But Kearse is a put your money where your mouth is for the team kind of guy. In my opinion, as he gets longer in the tooth, he's the player I have most enjoyed watching grow as a player, how he handles it, and the maturity he had and gained while playing here. IMO, he's the perfect match for the type of player Dan Quinn would want, and that chemistry with our team has been fun to watch.

Parcells thought the safety position was "easy to hide" while Quinn puts an emphasis and makes it the forefront of the defense, at times. It's been interesting to see.

That, along with how much Jayron Kearse has grown as a leader, could really work out for the team.
He’s seen it all, he went from special teamer to starter to getting replaced to coming in as the 4th safety on depth chart and took over and never looked back.

So you praise jayron Kearse and trash Emmitt Smith. Cowboyszone.com is something else

He’s exactly the kind of guy you need in the locker room, filmroom, and on game day. He’s not a star but he cleans up the trash, rarely misses an assignment, and adds a fire to those around him.

He wears the communication helmet (Red dot) as the QB of the defense.

He is basically a coverage LB on the majority of snaps (3 Safety sets).

Jayron may be the most underated player on the Cowboys and is a leader. Takes away the opposing teams TE.

Genuinely good dude too. As I have stated before...he gave one of his gloves to my son in TC and he still cherishes it.

Kearse is a great player and defensive leader. And, he leads by example and he lays the wood. What more do you want from a box safety?

Love having a big bodied presence back there. Kearse has been tremendous for this team.

remember all this praise for one of the 2 starting safety's whom both were the bargain bin basement FA acquisitions from cap boy :)) and our 3rd S is Wilson a drafted S a position that most here said we ignore.. seems like we got 3 capable Safety's now doing it the jones way :) must sting those that like jones narratives.

Hadn’t read the training camp story before. Cool stuff!
