I hope that this thread will spawn some discussions about the coaching situation with the Cowboys.
One of the things I wonder about were the discussions that Jerry and Mac had about Moore when Mac was hired.
I for one was surprised and disappointed that Mac did not install and run his offense, but that the offense was given to Moore to run.
Does anyone find this odd?
I personally think that this was a condition on Mac getting the job, but have no proof.
I think that Jerry believes that Moore is the next football genius and HC in waiting.
I really think this offense does not work for Dak and would love to see how a different offense might help him.
As someone has said, you can change offenses and coaches much easier than QB because of Dak's contract.

Thoughts and opinions please.
Thanks, John
Agree with every word. Moore is fulfilling Jerry's first failed, self appointed, non qualified OC to HC as Garrett part II. To prove to all the doubters he is a true football guy.

With regards to the offense in general I wonder the opposite than what all this year's Scapegoat Moore crowd thinks. And that is that imo Moore's hands are tied by Dak's limitations and wonder how Moore would fare with a more talented QB.

The video evidence of poor decision making in real time is overwhelming this year and can not be denied.

Poor decision making is the absolute root cause of offensive failure. To attempt to blame the failure on the play called vice the poor decision made by the QB with all the supporting film to illustrate how bad Dak ***** up in real time is comical to me.

To read this blame Kellen BS over and over again is about as lame an excuse as it gets.

But I'm sure it's just me.

And I ain't no huge Moore fan boi either. It's just that he ain't the one at fault.

When you cut Cooper and overtarget Dalton Schultz instead that's not the answer. Lol.

When you run Zeke for style points at a 50/50 split that's not the answer either. lol

We couldnt run or pass at will when it matters.

The front office said all the other wrs and tes were just gonna elevate but that didnt materialize they just regressed and fell flat on their Grass. Lol

And we went 2-5 on the road grass games.

The only thing that materialized on offense was Pollard. But hes been held hostage here for 4 years

I hope Whoever he plays for next year makes him a more integral part of the scheme.

I think someone is more concerned w having a witten'like te leading this team in targets and tradition more than winning in today's football era.

Coaching and FO mistakes seem to be intertwined imo

It starts at the top and works down.

Moore does alot of things that are statistically inept and embarrassing way too often but he does have some creativity if ya just give him about 5-7 more years.

If he's overtargeting Schultz and Zeke by choice then get them all outta here.

We can't win overtargeting Schultz'kowski and a washed up Zeke at the playoff level!!

We learned that over the course of 15+ years w #82

We couldn't win at the playoff level overtargeting #82 when we had a stud run attack

Go back and watch all of our playoff and elimination games for this 20 year losing streak

We gotta have a trio at wr or te at minimum and still be able to run effectively
