They supposedly like him, I like Travis Kelcey better.

You mean our team likes him? If so, it would make sense. He'd be great for blocking and would be a legitimate red zone threat.

I think Thomas's versatility as both a safety and defensive end will appeal to many teams. :)

I am a big John Simon fan. Reminds me of Mitch King. He just loves to play. Also like Alvin Bailey and JC Tretter.

Yes, I expect him to have 10 sacks per game but his team will give up about 400 yards rushing, all to his side.:

Simon is relentless, but I can't figure out where he fits in the NFL.

He just don't look like a bend-the-corner outside pass-rusher and his is too small at DT. He looks like an old-school MLB.

I thought Barrett Jones was interesting. He sounds like a Patriots Offensive lineman. Smart, William V. Campbell trophy for "absolute best scholar-athlete. Versatile, played tackle, guard, and center. He also received the highest praise from Saban calling him one of the top players he's been around and comparing him to Bruce Matthews.

I know everyone loves the lineman in round 1, but I really like the lineman in rounds 2-4. I'm down on Warmack right now because I don't feel like he's that special. Seems like a good guard, but at 18, we should get a better player than just 'good'. Cooper is the only OL I want at 18.

There are at least 4 options, IMO--Bailey (I love this guy--versatile, big, moves extremely well), Thomas, Schwenke, and Jones--in rounds 2 to 4. Throw in some other solid prospects like Quessenberry, Khaled Holmes, Faulk and Brian Winters--and I have to say, unless Cooper's is sitting there at 18, I hope we skip OL in round 1.

Better watch Warmack again when a run play is happening he is very special and gets to that second level like nobodies business and no one in this draft is close. Pass protection meh. Above average most of the time. He will move the running backs up a tier as far as talent level, think about that with DeMarco and in the redzone or third down. Cooper is no slouch just that Warmack is Dez and Cooper is Miles if you need a comparison as far as talent IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I love Warmack. But I'm beginning to think that the difference between him and guys like Bailey isn't that drastic. I don't think Warmack's talents are that great tojustify taking a guard near the top half of round 1. I'd much rather take a guy like Bailey or Thomas in the 3rd as opposed to Warmack in 1.

I have to agree with you Gaede, Honest question, if Larry Warford played for Bama or LSU or Florida or Georgia instead of Kentucky, where would he be ranked among Guard prospects? To me, I don't really see a lot of difference between Warford and Warmack. Just below that you have Bailey and Thornton who I love as a Guard prospect. I like Warmack and would not be disappointed if we got him at 18 but honestly, I would be just as excited, if not more so, if we got Warford or Baily in the 3rd or 4th and Thornton in the 5th. They all have very similar skills, very similar games.

IMO, if Warmack and Warford had switched teams, they would have switched draft spots also.

I think that way, too, sometimes. I'd really like to Trade up to get Austin, but then again there are a number of other good WRs we wouldn't have to trade up for.

I like Kelcey too but he's all kinds of screwed up. However, he might be the most complete TE in this draft. He's just 20 shades of all you know what.
What exactly is the deal with this kid? Is he bi-polar?

I agree with you here. But if Elam played for Texas... Ah, well, never mind. :p:
